A really excellent guesthouse; the facilities are spot-on with free unlimited wifi and a continental breakfast. What really seals the deal, however, is the owner, Ginny, who really understands the concept of hospitality going above and beyond the call of duty to make her guests feel at home - I think we might actually have found the nicest woman in... This place is everything you could hope for in a B&B. It felt like staying at home. Located close to the city centre and plenty of parking space. As soon as we entered we were greeted with great warmth smiles and a laugh, instantly feeling at home our room was amazingly comfortable with unlimited free Wi-Fi, fresh towels and sky... More

Such a cozy atmosphere and hospitality. Right when I entered the house, I was greeted with smiles and jokes. Really, I was instantly comfortable and felt like a second home. It was so well kept and clean. Everything was well stocked and we had a nice breakfast and coffee in the morning. Couldn't ask for more, honestly. A 10/10 for... More

Stayed at this B&B twice whilst in NZ. Couldn't have been looked after more, helped that there was a great bunch of people staying whilst I was there. Was a real home from home! Would recommend to anyone traveling in the area

Really enjoyed by 4 night stay. Everything you need in a spacious living and welcoming environment. I am not a great one for shared bathrooms but with the lodge layout, I found this no problem at all. Host is great and very helpful. Location: Very close to town and eateries .

We were greeted with a very welcome cup of tea after our journey up from Dunedin. Our room was lovely – clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and wholesome. Plenty of places to eat in town and there is a supermarket close by should you wish to self cater. All in all a good spot to stay.

When we first checked in the owner was very friendly, the room was nice and clean, good WiFi and everything worth a 5 star rating. However in the evening we cooked some food and because our plates did not have mats underneath them the owner rudely picked up our plates whilst we were eating and put mats under them. Totally... We are Sorry you had a bad experience. It plainly states on a placard on the table because the table is mahogany that placemats are to be used under everything. It is a daily routine for me to do this as people do not read. Not rude just plain frustrated how someone can treat others property without thought. Cooking is... More

Our hostess was very welcoming and friendly. Rooms, mostly with en suite bath, are very small. Comfortable lounge for reading and free wifi. Residents can prepare food in the well-equipped kitchen. Complementary juice, coffee, cereal, and toast for breakfast available with about a dozen different jams, including Marmite and Vegemite. Inexpensive lodging. Walkable distance to CBD.
