My husband and I stayed at the Aydos Club Hotel for one week. There was a lot to like about it and a few things that could have been better. First, the good – The location. The property fronts the river, where there is an eating area there that is perfect for breakfast or relaxing. The pool was inviting, and there were more than enough sunbeds for all the guests. There was also ample shade in the pool area. The pool area also has a spacious bar to get drinks and lunch. The hotel is in a quiet area, about a 15-minute walk to town. The staff was friendly. We arrived a bit early, and our room was ready. What could be better – There doesn’t seem to be a lot of attention to detail. The shrubs in front of our room and the one next to it were full of weeds (some four feet high), as were other parts of the property. It was as if the gardener quit in the middle of the job. Also, our door lock was difficult to use, and the door hit the floor when we opened it. Little things like that could be easily fixed. The sunbeds had slipcovers that had a few stains. They either need a really good wash or to be replaced. After our first night, we informed the owner that we didn’t need our room cleaned that day; every other day would be fine. From then on, we had to hunt down the housekeeper, or we wouldn’t get service. The thing that confused us – We were surprised when we walked into our room and saw that the 538 square feet were on two floors. The photos on Booking showed a lovely sitting area. Instead, we got a bland second floor with two twin beds. The area was useless to us. The room was listed as a Duplex Studio, which we now know means it is on two floors. Our stay was pleasant, but the property could be idyllic with more attention to detail.…
This was our first time staying in Dalyan and the Aydos Club was the perfect setting for our week away. The grounds and location are simply stunning. We were travelling with our two children 6yo and 18mo. The apartment was set over two floors with two single beds upstairs and a double bed downstairs with a bathroom which had a toilet and a shower. Although it’s a little outdated it’s clean, the beds were comfortable and the apartment was roomy. The pool area is lovely with lots of shaded spots to sit. I do think they could do with a few more single sun loungers though to move around for sunbathing! We opted for bed and breakfast which was fresh bread, melon, olives, cheese, tomatoes and they had a station for eggs and pancakes, which was great and set us up for the day. The jetty is beautiful where you eat your breakfast and my children loved seeing the turtles and ducks every morning. The hotel provides a complimentary boat that takes you to the beach each day if you wish which we took advantage of and the boat ride alone is amazing! They do also do some excursions throughout the week for an additional charge. The centre of town is approx 15-20 min walk with lots of restaurants along the way and felt very safe everywhere. The manager was super helpful, he recommended lots of things to do, helped me organise a taxi and even checked my airport transfer was coming. We really loved our week away and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, small hotel in this wonderful part of turkey! I have documented our stay on my Instagram if you’d like to see more @robynandmimi…
Lovely week spend at Aydos Suites. The Suites are huge with 3 bedrooms (or 1 bedroom) complete with dishwasher, washing machine. Pool towels are provided FOC at Aydos CLub which is literally 2 minutes walk from the Aydos Suites. The pool at Aydio suites is big and we enjoyed spending time here, however we travelled in August HOT HOT HOT and the shade was better at Aydio Club (lots trees) so we spent more time here. Also we enjoye using the pool side bar at the club too. Very very reasonable prices and a great atmosphere. Beds very comfortable and the air conditioning very effectient, which was needed. Lovely walk into Dalyan along the river where we could see turtles swimming, big selection of birds, fish and other wildlife. We went out twice on Rahmi boat, once to the lake where we anchored and jumped off into the lake and another time to itzuzu beach. Both these trips were FOC. Other trips are avaiable further afield and these are at additional cost. Dalyan is lovely and not too touristy and the Turkish people just cnnot do enough for you, they are friendly, punctual, reliable and really want to make your stay a good one - we wil be back x…
This is our third visit - and from the minute we arrived we felt relaxed. Rahmi and his staff are so welcoming. Love the setting of the hotel on the river where we would watch Turtles whilst having breakfast each day. The beach is a 40 min boat ride away - you get picked up at 10am from the jetty adjacent to the hotel. It is not the most luxurious hotel we have stayed in but definitely our favourite - we will be back.
We have just returned from a holiday at Aydos Club, Dalyan - our fourth visit. It was lovely to be back. This is a fabulous hotel in a beautiful riverside location - very quiet and relaxing. The service provided by Rahmi and his team is superb.
A great family run hotel, a return visit after 10 years and the place has lost none of its charm. The Owner Rahmi is always on hand to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable, we will certainly return again but we won’t be leaving it so long this time
We are back for the umpteenth time, and as always just love being here. Idyllic location, and as always the ever smiling Rahmi to look after our every need. Have already been out on Blue Melody with Rahmi & Hanife, doing the 12 Islands - great boat, and great trip. Also went to the Trout Stream restaurant, and the waterfall. All in our first couple of days... Moonlight cruise tonight! With the whole Covid situation is is great to be back in Dalyan, and have to say everyone here is being very sensible, and it really has not impacted the holiday too much - just remember to socially distance, and wear a mask when wandering around town. Right... Time for another 30 lengths...
We chose Aydos Club due to great reviews & had visited 7 yrs ago. The setting & location are superb. It's very relaxing to sit on the decking & watch the river wildlife. The pool is a nice size & the water is clean - unlike the paddling pool. The layout of the duplex rooms is good albeit a bit small & dated with light bulbs missing, doors & hinges needing fixing, lack of hot water - most days only cold water to wash & shower. Each of our little garden areas were full of long weeds, so not very inviting. The whole place looks tired & in need of some TLC. Some paving around the pool & bar areas need attention, causing a few trip hazards. We found the bar poorly stocked. The staff spoke very little English & didn't seem to want to engage so very little ambience. We did eat the first evening & the food tasty & reasonably priced. The buffet breakfast was ok, just a bit bland but the lady cooking pancakes & eggs on her gas burner, always had a nice smile. Even before we travelled, we found it hard to get Rahmi to answer our queries. Due to the failure of TC some of us had to rebook flights & the details were given to the hotel the day before our visit but we weren’t met at the airport, so had to take a taxi. When we arrived Rahmi said he hadn't received the emails & apologised but there was no offer of re-imbursement. We did enjoy our stay but are disappointed with the current standards. This hotel could easily return to its former glory & personally we hope it does.…
With a 7yr old kid we stayed in the hotel suites for 5 days and it was amazing. Rami the manager is so accommodating and always around. He made our stay so nice and he is so chilled giving us beach towels so we dont buy new ones for few days, arranging our local tours, taxis and any request we had was swiftly managed. We got a 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom suite, that has all the facilities for a family to live in including a living area plus kitchen (fully equipped - some equipment washing machine, dish washer, toaster, electrical grill for sandwiches, coffee maker, all neccessary utensils plus the soap for machines). Housekeeping is included plus breakfast and the price is amazing. Each of the hotel side and the suites areas have 2 pools, one big and one for infants. Inflatables are found maybe left by previous guests so no need to get yours. The restaurant offers good food at amazing prices. This is our 2nd stay in Dalyan first time we stayed in Dalyan Resort and Spa. Even though more luxurious this place has a great feeling and homey especially for an extended stay. Nothing offered in a 5 stars is better than this one. The place is well maintained and more quaint. Can't recommend it more.…
Rahmi the owner and his family are all so welcoming. The location is beautiful - right on the river but with boat access directly to the beach. It really is a gem - this was our second trip and already yearning to go again.
