Booked for fifteen nights stayed five. Setting is fabulous on the dalyan river. Watched the turtle's pop their heads up for air whilst admiring the rock tombs in the background . Breakfast was also nice. We had paid for a larger room at £60 a night with a balcony. The room we got was basic with worn furniture and two beds. The shower flooded the room every time it was used. Towels old and grey. Electrical sockets hung off the wall. No kettle or any basic amenities except a small fridge. Hostel rather than bed and breakfast or hotel . Due to COVID19 the manager refused to offer room cleaning and gave me a mop, bucket and cloth. I cleaned it once before finding out that COVID19 was his excuse. Every other establishment in Dalyan had room cleaning, fresh towels etc. The outside toilets were also closed due to COVID19, as was using the canoe. Again, another excuse. The manager simply couldn't be bothered. After an evening out we attempted to buy a drink from the bar. Nope, lights out with the manager opting to spend his time next door drinking raki. So much for social distancing eh. The manager was not attentive and made little attempt to make us welcome or give any advice , history etc about the beautiful area we had come to stay. After breakfast he instead chooses to go on bike rides with his friends. No snacks at lunch offered on the premises. Thus, after breakfast that was our lot he was off! Despite his COVID19 concerns he never once washed the sunbeds or cleaned the decking. Aftee five days of this we moved to another establishment two minutes away as we could stand no more.

Response from Levent Sünger, İşletme Sahibi at Lindos Pension

It is very surprising that you used the measures we took under Covid 19 against us, whereas these measures were for both your and our health. I wish you were a little honest and told the real reason. The real reason you are angry with us is that you do not want to pay the full amount of your reservation. You try to denigrate us for getting the money I am entitled to on the basis of the contract, shame.

This is an idyllic spot on the river - you have perfect view of the magical rock tombs. I had a comfortable compact room with very good aircon and a fine view. Wi-Fi fine. Delicious healthy breakfast, excellent bar, lots of shady trees, swimming in the river is wonderful. Tea and cake daily at 5pm. Professional staff, tranquil and relaxed atmosphere. Own private jetty for river boats. Cats and kittens.

Lindos has been a favourite for many years. Professionally run by its owners it is a friendly place right on the river in beautiful gardens. Simple but very well maintained with a lovely bar for residents. Amazing views at breakfast of the rock tombs. Levent and Pembe are experts in cycling and yoga and can give lots of advice on local activities. Don't miss Levent's signature cocktails!

Really lovely place.... Great view of the tombs. Really nice family who own it and live there. They have lots of cats! The room was quite small but nice and clean. They serve tea and cake between 5 and 6pm. I'd recommend it.

Super little guest house on the river. Great view across the river to the rock tombs. Owner tries very hard to make sure you are enjoying your stay. Plenty of shade, comfortable seating, and a nice bar. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice and good quality. Complimentary tea and cake every afternoon. They can arrange for the local water taxi to pick you up at the hotel jetty on route to Itztutu beach. Only issue I have was that the room was small. However it was clean and tidy, and had a good a\c unit Plenty of restaurants/bars within a few minutes walk.
