What an amazing place! Such a great atmosphere and energy created by those who worked there. We were welcomed in like family and looked after every night of our beautiful stay here. Yüksel who was running the restaurant made really tasty food and was especially nice. We miss the cooking already! Can't wait until next year. Thanks Daniel & Lisa

We were at Myland Nature for about 10 days with my family. First days our body clock still insisted us to beat like we are in the city. But then slowed down to feel the nature, the paradise garden, the serenity in the air. The place has an amazing garden with nice hammock available for each room. There are numerous types of fruit trees (lemon, banana, mulberry, plum, etc) in the garden. It is also amazing to watch the stars at night while rocking slowly on the hammock. Realising the existence of the stars and to see that many was incredible. It is just 2 min. (Circa 200 m) to the beach. Sea is especially amazing in the morning. I always had the struggle to have yoga in the morning or to swim in order not to miss the morning sea. Owner is also very friendly and also provides yoga sessions every morning. It was also very relaxing to have a nice dinner in the restaurant with nice music. Music is not live, but very relaxing. Meals are delicious. I’ve learned that the people working in the kitchen recently changed to improve the service quality. It looks like the owner managed to improve the quality well enough because I can easily say that this is one of the top relaxing vacation ever. My kids (even though they are teen 😉) had the same feelings as I had. It looks like this place will be one of our favourite vacation spot for next years.

A wonderfully quiet nature and a garden where you wake up to a lot of bird chirps, friendly service, very suitable for families with children, 100 meters from the clean beach, magnificent healthy yummy homemade food and hygienic rooms and a clean garden , thanks to Mrs. Pinar and her teammates for everything.

We stayed for 4 days in this place and were shocked by the super unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. During checkin nobody welcomed us and the staff in general makes a very demotivated impression. The next morning we had breakfast and were again disappointed to see such a low quality breakfast. There was barely any food on the table other than a few sticks of cheese with pink fungus and a boiled egg. The bread they served on the first day was not fresh as well. Interesting, given the fact that we payed nearly 500 Turkish lira for our bed and breakfast. The kitchen is open and makes an extremely dirty impression. I hesitated to even order a coffee here. The hygiene level overall is non-existing with zero Covid19 precautions. Me and my family felt unsafe. While checking out the “friendly” owner tried to overcharge us by 300 Turkish lira. Overall an extremely disappointing and frustrating stay. I recommend nobody to stay in this resort!

Response from PINAR Ozkaya, İşletme Sahibi at Myland Nature Hotel
Responded Aug 1, 2020
First of all, thank you for your open and detailed feedback. As we didn't have any foreign guests this July staying for 4 days, we assume you are a Turkish guest writing in English. We have various covid-19 precautions in place. After each checkout and cleaning, all rooms are disinfected using a government approved fog machine, all tables are cleaned with a 70+ proof alcohol solution. Of course, we also have hand sanitizers and check the temperature of personnel and suspect guests regularly. In addition to these, unfortunately, we had to compromise our signature buffet breakfast due to the pandemic, and simplify it. This makes service more difficult for us but it is necessary for everyone's health. Beginning of this season, we leased out the restaurant to a new family but because of breakfast quality and similar complaints we ended their contract. So, you were right about the breakfast quality, except for the pink fungus :-) Since your review, all our kitchen staff is replaced and the quality of our food including breakfast is back to normal. For the last 19 years in Myland, we have enjoyed hosting our guests with personal attention and our guests find us welcoming and friendly. This is the first time we're accused of overcharging. We are completely transparent about our rates from the beginning and there is the usual difference between paying methods, cash or credit. Although we don't remember your issue with this, it was certainly due to a misunderstanding. Thank you for letting us know your concerns and improve ourselves.

The hotel offers individual cabins for your stay with hammocks and porch chairs. The setting is in a lovely tropic garden. The fruit in season is offered to guests for free. The beach is across the street, and the hotel offers beach chairs for you. Breakfast if good, and varied. The free yoga classes in the morning are refreshing and fun. I'd stay longer next time.

Mylands Nature: Our stay at Mylands Nature was a very enjoyable one. Owners, Engin and Pinar operate a finely laid-back, relaxed and friendly environment. Engin was available for any answers to questions about where to go, the local history and the geographic significance of the area. A very informed, intelligent and multilingual gentleman. He drove us to a couple of places that were too far to walk and collected us at the agreed time of each occasion. One of these was Chimera, an area of the Lycean mountains which you climb up to see an array of natural gas vents. Evening dusk is best for this so you can enjoy the balmy evening heat while watching dramatic, dancing, surreal flames coming from the rocky ground. Another visit that Engin recommended to us, was a particular restaurant high up at Ullapinar. Specialising in fish, this particular place had platforms with tables set up over a naturally staggered waterfall. A stunning location. This area in the mountains maintains a consistent 25 degrees… natural water-cooled air conditioning caused by a continuing flow of fresh water down the hillside! The Mylands accommodation is simple, but more than ample enough for a lazy holiday requirement. Beds are comfortable and not soft (which is sometimes a worry, as I often get a bad back from an inadequate mattress) and covered with lightweight, soft, plush bamboo covers (better than cotton). Towels are supplied and each room has it’s own air conditioning unit, so if you need to cool off this is not a problem. Each room has a toilet and shower. Yoga is available every morning for those who wish to do it, at 8am. There are hammocks available for each room, and a swing chair and a couple of softly furnished outdoor chill-out areas in the garden. You are surrounded by palms, fruit trees, and other amazing plants and herbs. Peace and tranquility abounds. There are a few musical instruments available to play including a steel-strung guitar, a flute and a keyboard. I played a bit on the guitar a few hot afternoons under the shade of the trees. They asked if I would perform a solo concert in the bar on our second Saturday evening, for which I was honoured to be asked and enjoyed immensely. Yuksel manages the bar and restaurant facilities with a total passion. He is just awesome! Very friendly, personable, funny, cheeky and fantastic with the little ones. He works extremely hard at keeping a tidy, well run bar, kitchen, serving and dining area for all to enjoy and feel comfortable. Occasionally, there might be a delay with food, but this is only due to guests and visitors turning up at similar times wishing to eat. For us, these delays were not a problem at all. Sometimes a fish dish would take a bit longer to prepare fresh, than something they might have been preparing during that particular day; like mezze dishes, salads or soups. A great choice of cold beers and wine, plus spirits are available for the grown ups. This includes a gorgeous (strong) mandarin liquor they make themselves. We tried this a couple of the evenings! The hand-made fruit juices and lemonade are delicious. You’ve never tasted so good! Same goes for the organic produce they grow and prepare around the nature garden, for use in their dishes. Depending on the season, This includes Lemons, Oranges, Pomegranates, Grapes, Tomatoes, all kinds of herbs and certainly much more in the way of seasonal vegetables. Mehmet is a force of nature. One moment he’s tending and watering the gardens. Next he’s fixing something, up at the nearby beach tending to the sun loungers, mowing the grass, then suddenly he’s cooking over the chargrill burning fire during the evenings for all sorts of amazing food options. For residents, the buffet breakfast is wonderful. Tomatoes, Olives, Breads, Eggs, Pastries, Sausage meat, several Cheeses, a choice of cereal, tea and coffee is available. (Tea is free to help yourself to all day if wanted). The marmalade they make is like nothing else you’ve experienced… Amazing! The nearby pebble and sand beach is a complete beauty, with it’s own Mylands Nature selection of beach loungers. The entire bay is clean, well maintained and uncrowded. Look behind you and your eyes digest an awe-inspiring view of the Lycean Mountains. Gaze back forwards to the Mediterranean sea and you are invited towards stunning blue water via big warm pebbles and sand, before stepping into this warm, immaculate, clear, beautiful sea. Beach shoes, Goggles and snorkel (available at reasonable cost, from a nearby shop) enable a sensory experience like no other. Fish and occasionally squid and even more occasionally, a turtle, will readily swim into view if you're patient. We shall remember Mylands Nature fondly and will miss the people and the place. Hopefully, we will go there again sometime. Recommended for singles, couples and younger families.

We stayed here for 8 nights in a double chalet. The staff were relaxed but attentive and were very helpful when questioned about things to do and see, the food was OK, but we're adventurous and wanted to eat at as many different places as possible. The bar was never busy and certainly not noisy and we had many evenings playing cards and drinking beer/wine. The whole place is set in a lovely sub tropical garden with hammocks etc. The beach is a short walk away and Myland has it's own loungers and umbrellas. Highly recommended, and if we ever went back we'd stay again.

This is about a regular place on Çıralı Beach but the garden stands out as unique with many plants from so many different parts of the world. If you are there in spring (April-June) you'll have the chance to taste so many fresh fruits straight from the tree (such as mulberries, plums, oranges, lemons, loquats, pomelos, kumquats, peaches, etc.) And if you happen to be there in late summer then you'll have tons of grapes, quinces, and other fruits for you. There are also plenty of medicinal herbs and the hotel owners produce certified organic products from these. Needless to say, they also contribute very well to all the meals of the restaurant.
