I was here for several days and found the room to be good, but hot. When I enquired about the AC I was told it had been turned off for the season. Opening the window did not give me much air movement because it opened onto a roof. However, after the 2nd night (I am assuming after other requests) the... More

A hotel in absolute ceter of the old town. Only 20 meters from the stunning Cathedral. Nice and clean. Disaster start at check in, they could not find our reservation. At the breakfast we were presented a bill of € 20.00 for breakfast, even though we paid for the room with breakfast. Our room was small, even though we ordered... More

XIV century palace right in front Avila's cathedral. Very beautiful on the outside and correct in the inside. Decent rooms with correct beds, albeit a little too small. But you're there just to sleep between visits to the city, right? Attractive prices that makes this hotel a good option to stay while visiting Avila.

I wanted to look inside the hotel so as to make up my mind to stay or not. The reception I was received was poor and a little rude. No you cannot enter the hotel as I may disturb the guests. Very strange attitude. Anyway I went across the square to "Palacio de losVelada". I was so Impressed by this... More

Top location in front of the Murallas and the Cathedral. You can also drive your car to the door if for loading and unloading. The hotel is spacious with long hallways and many rooms. The value was decent (53 euros per night via Booking) and the rooms were OK (except for the stains of ceiling leaks and possible humidity). The... More

This hotel is very central for the old town in Avila. Our bedroom window overlooked the Cathedral. It is also very convenient for access to the old town wall. The hotel has fairly modern rooms and bathrooms. The price was reasonable compared to others near by. The rooms were very quiet as was Avila in March.

This is a great hotel, the location couldn't be better adjoining the cathedral and facing the cathedral square. The entrance is very beautiful, with nicely decorated rooms. The rooms are ok and the bathroom is fine. The food is above average.

Rating this hotel as 3 star is a gift for them. Additionally, the pictures in the slide show don't reflect the room we had. This hotel is wonderfully located and looks appealing on the ground floor but the room itself was drab, small, with a bathroom door that barely opened since the door hit the tub. The tub was chipped,... More

We've been in several hotels in Ávila, to me this one offers the best balance for quality & price. Located inside the wall, near the most important monuments to visit, and also from the bars, restaurants and even night life. Recently renewed (haven't seen it before that).
