This lovely B&B is owned by a kind, welcoming, warm-hearted couple who try their very best to make you feel at home. It's the kind of hospitality I dream about when traveling to foreign countries and my stay there impacted my overall impression of Romania as a country - in the best way possible! The house itself is 400 years...

Maria and John are the most welcoming couple ever! We were going to spend 1 night in Sighisoara, but loved the room so much that we stayed for 2. Excellent value for money, nice breakfast and for extra 40 lei per head, Maria cooked us fantastic traditional Romanian dinners: 3 courses with unlimited wine. Maria is a very good cook...

Owners are nice people. They promised breakfast for 5 lei. When I mistakenly gave her 20 EUR (not knowing that there is 20 lei). The host lady took it. Later when i asked it back she said that breakfast is actually was 20lei. Very very humble breakfast with a toast and cup of coffee. Rooms are dirty; and bathrooms are...

We really enjoyed staying here. It is in a great location in this charming town. Our host was delightful and welcomed us with a glass of his delicious home made wine. Our room was spacious and quiet. We had a fresh egg from John's chickens. I would thoroughly recommend staying here to anyone.

My partner and I stayed for one night in this beautiful house. The location was perfect, the rooms were delightful, and the views were beautiful. Most importantly, we were met by the hugely friendly and welcoming couple, and only wished we could have stayed longer!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for only a night but wish we could have stayed longer. The older couple who owned the house were so lovely and welcoming. The room was very large, comfortable, clean and cheap. We had dinner and breakfast at the house with amazing local food and home made wine. The experience was fantastic. The shower...

I ended up here because I didn't find another free place in the town. It was above my budget, but in the end, I didn't regret staying here. John and Maria make you feel like home immediately, the breakfast is super, and the rooms nice.

We are an Spanish couple who stayed one night there; it was a nice experience for us. The first meeting with Maria was so close, she is a very dear person. Although the bathrooms are quite small, there are two of them, so enough space for us. It is well located at the very old town, and they invite us...

Nice b&b in the middle of the old centre, the people are really friendly and helpfull. We enjoyed our time in the b&b, esp. sitting and chatting in the garden (and drinking homemade wine). The downside is that the b&b is a bit dusty with old furniture, but hey, you are in an old building (which is the whole charm...

We stayed in this b&b in August, totally trusting the Lonely Planet Top Choice label for it. We had refused much nicer and cleaner b&b..if we only knew..Our room was spacious, but dirty and very old furniture..the whole night we were afraid the bed will just collapse; terribly old bedsheets. We had the same problem with the key as a...

“they have the main house and then a house caddy corner from the main house. We have stayed in both homes and love them. There is NO a/c in any of them, and the heat is questionable in the fall and spring...but lots of blankets and feather beds make for a cozy nights sleep! I loved each room, and at one point when traveling with our whole family we occupied the entire main house...”
