Steps in the history... You can discover the baker's house as reflected by the history in the Taschler Haus Boutique Hotel. The ambiance represents the history of the house. The customized rooms with names inspired by Saxon crafts, with mural paintings and individual specific decorations of that time are waiting for you.

The rooms are comfortable and very beautiful with amazing view. The hosts are very kind and helpful with everything. They gave us free tickets for parking and the parking is very close. The location is the best for walking in old town. They have winery with good wines under the building open all the time and you can pick up your wine any time you feel and you pay later. I love this place so much and definitely I will visit again. Best wishes from Saudi Arabia.

It exceeded my expectations from the arrival until the departure. The staff was very friendly and customer orientated, very helpful at all times. The room was absolutely gorgeous: very nice furniture, very clean, warm and welcoming. The entire experience at the Taschler Haus was wonderful!

Taschler Haus totally exceeded my expectations. The entrance left me guessing a bit...it's sort of an uninspiring barn door (see photo), which leads into a spacious courtyard, half of which is under cover. The courtyard is fantastic and a great place for guests to relax, while being in the midst of this incredible city called Sighisoara (one of my favorite places in Romania). When we arrived we were offered a traditional welcome drink, a popular Romanian spirit made from plums (which is quite customary when staying at a guest house in this region). We were shown to our room which was on the first floor (2nd floor for those of you from North America). It was quite large with a living area, bedroom and a lovely bathroom. There were two windows on opposite sides of the suite in which we had incredible views of the historic city. Below the inn is a wine cellar in which you can purchase a bottle and enjoy in the cellar (see pic) or in the courtyard, which is what we did one evening. The location of Taschler House is perfect, right in the heart of town where you can walk to just about everything. The owners are amazing, so incredibly hospitable and helpful. We just had a fantastic time. The only thing you should be aware of is that they do not serve breakfast, which is pretty customary when staying just about anywhere in Europe. There is however a couple of good restaurants nearby for breakfast. They do have a really nice coffee/espresso machine with some light snacks to curb the appetite.
