Incredible bad experience at Double tree by Hilton in Sighisoara. Very dirty and nasty hotel. Extremely noisy and uncomfortable staying conditions. We could not rest at all during the night. We had to cancel the reservation. Totally not recommended! Sighisoara is a really nice medieval city, but avoid this hotel.

Hilton in name only. I am not sure the Brand has been reviewing their facilities of late. Hotel is well located to Sighisoara town and sites. The room was reasonably clean and the bed comfortable, shower hot. But the foyer and rooms are very very tired. A full paint and refresh of the well worn furniture is desperately needed to maintain the Brand. Ax a 3 star it is what you would expect.

When we arrived at the location we were looking forward for a wonderful weekend. However, it was short lived. It all started with the swimming pool water which was very cold. You try explaining to a 6 year old that he cannot enjoy the swimming pool because someone decided not to warm the pool. Then, in the hotel, it was a party. That would be fine, except that our room was above the floor with the party and everything was shaking. Literally. Until after 11 PM it was loud music that I was expecting my kid to wake up. I hoped that it was a singular incident, and that the second day everything would be fine. Long story short, it wasn’t. The second day the water in the swimming pool was the same, cold. What’s the purpose of having a swimming pool if one cannot swim in it?! And yes, the second day there was another party, same style, loud music. We booked the place for 2 nights, but went home after 1 night. Don’t recommend this hotel to anyone! Better stay in a 3 star B&B and you’ll get a better experience. This hotel should not be having 4 stars. It’s a pitty for the staff, which was nice. But the experience was terrible! Don’t go! We’ve paid and could not benefit from the money we’ve paid! Big no no!…

Friendly staff, the room was clean and confortabile even though the furniture and room accessories are quite older. Finding a parking lot was difficult (because of a event that was going on in the hotel restaurant) but reached out to the receprion staff and he indicated us a place where we can park.

Picture the scene: We had arrived early in Sighisoara and checked into another hotel -we had dinner with friends and then went to the hotel only to find it locked up with no staff answering our phone calls at 11.30pm We were forced to seek alternative accommodation and thankfully, the staff at the doubletree were able to find us a room at very short notice .I thank you all giving us somewhere to stay in the middle of a snowstorm! The only regret I have is that I didn't accumulate my Honours points as my phone had died after trying to get in touch with our previous hotel and I couldn't access the app. Thanks for saving us, however - and thanks to your professional staff!

My family were here on a repeat stay and I am still impressed by the staff and amenities. Great central location for exploring Cluj. My children loved the infinity pool. Treat yourself you will not be disappointed.

Well ... Hilton again, but this time far from the Hilton experience I am used with ... why? well bare with me on this : - room was nice , clean, kind of narrow but more than enough for 2 people, with a nice touch of stairs to the bed ... but was really good but there were several things that were not. - checking was an dreadful adventure, unprofessional staff didn't care at all about my Hilton membership card and that became obvious on check out - a nightmare to do it with undertrained unprofessional staff , who were not able to print me a receipt and when I told them , just mail it on the account linked to my Hilton membership , well they did not seem to know what that is ... so yes staff at front desk definitely not professional - if they are on training have a senior overmatching them and train them , don't just leave them alone. - breakfast ...- at least it was, but a pore excuse and definitely not Hilton quality - egg were good (both omelet and hard boiled ), but sausages resembled of the cheapest brands you find in supper market, definitely not enjoyable, instead of crispy bacon you got gummy warmed, 1/2 fried ham pieces , and the yogurt has topped it ... now that was as cheap as it gets in the supper market - not the flavored, that was from the better brands out there - the green were just cucumber and tomatoes , in terms of fruits there were better choices , pineapple and grapes were good. So the breakfast experience definitely under Hilton standard - in the dining area the tables were clean, but don't look at the decorations on the divers items on the walls - thick layer of dust. Bathroom - drain undersized or clogged, you had to shower very carefully not to flood the whole bathroom - broken towel hanger on the door - see pic, missing mirror from the folding arm ,... why leave the empty arm there? mystery ... Pool area was very nice and very enjoyable. Parking on the premises , a nightmare and the front desk stuff doesn't bother telling you that you can park easy and very cheap in the public parking lot in the back of the hotel for 2 Euro/24h (so really cheap - just send you license plate number via SMS to a number on a panel ). Overall given all of the above - the hotel does not really deserve the 4* designator - I've stayed at Hilton several times (you got the reviews on TA ) but this time I was disappointed, payed a lot of money for under standard quality and service - at least from my perspective. If it wouldn't be for the pool and the very comfortable bed, this review would have been even worst ... So , should you need accommodation is Sighisoara?, I would say try some place else ... at least for the time being, only the pool area is worth mentioning.…

Poor breakfast,always have to ask for what you need,poorly prepared employees,very filthy carpet in the room,open space terrace and find beer cans on our space,pool was close but find out after we have made reservation and payment.
