We did not stay at this hostel but stopped as starting and ending point of a Sapa trek. The location was awful - entering through a construction site. We were offered to wash and change in the staff rooms; we felt like disturbing their privacy. The owner, who also organized the trek, was responsive as we requested to extend the...

We booked a Sapa Tour at our hotel in Hanoi (1 night at a homestay). The tour operator came out to be the Auberge Hotel in Sapa. We got picked up some time after our bus arrived, brought back to the hotel and had breakfast (was ok). Then we had to wait more than 3 hours (!!!) for our tour....

We booked our tour to Sapa through our hotel in Hanoi. They arranged the transport and the tour, but fortunately we booked a hotel by ourself. So Hotel Auberge offered breakfast, lunch and dinner for us and organized everything we did in Sapa. And that was the worst organization and treatment we ever got. Sometimes while waiting for meals we...

Before I start myself and my partner are very open minded travellers, this is the first poor review we've written on TA, hotels.com, booking.com or anywhere for that matter. This place and the tour management has absolutely nothing good to say about it - we paid 145USD dollars each which was meant to include return sleeper trains from Hanoi, all...

I get this hotel through booking a tour from Hanoi. The room is fine but the floor is pretty dirty and the hot water isn't enough for showering. The food is the worst part, we get breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. But after the first breakfast and lunch free which including in the payment, we decided to find other place...

We stayed here for one night before a home stay and the staff were really helpful, friendly and organised. Our tour company had booked us on an adventure tour in sapa and messed up our coach times for our sleeper bus (we booked with a dodgy company who screwed us around multiple times!) we were meant to leave at 9pm...

I chose this hotel according to my cousin's recommendation but it was below his words. We booked 6 rooms in 4th floor. The view was very great with mountain view. But $30 is expensive for the service and room's quality. Anw the food there was good.

I was booked to stay here as part of a tour and I took one look at the place and left! The room was freezing with no heating or fire place with loads of single glazing windows the let loads of cold in! It had damp all over the walls and the sheets and towels were also damp. The shower...

Stayed at the Auberge in January 2016 and went on two tours. The first was an afternoon tour to the villages and we bought lots of scarves. If you buy scarves, wait until the end and there are some fixed price ones that are cheaper than you will get elsewhere. The second tour was in Sa Pa up to the...
