Stayed two nights, huge room, amazing views from the balcony and well located for getting around Sapa and visiting the local hill tribes. Friendly, welcoming staff. Sisters of the Black H'Mong bar is situated right opposite, happy hour every afternoon from 4 to 7 pm.

I stayed at the BamBoo Sapa hotel for family trip in August and had an excellent experience. I really enjoyed being in a classic building with great amenities and a super friendly and helpful staff. Normally, rooms very big and stunning view of valley and my room was quite nice. They've got a great property and was very happy with... More

The view was to die for truly food and breakfast was ok nothing special in truth but the views are the selling point truly considering when I was there in August across the road huge diggers scraping the mountainside out front of hotel and noisy and dusty but still didn't poison the view out back ,,,rooms good and quiet good... What a wonderful place!!! We spent a few days at the hotel this holiday and we had the best time there. Gorgeous deco, fantastic hosts! Everything was made to make us feel comfortable. Owner introduced us to other guests and we spent evenings chatting to people from all over the world. We are definitely going back next time for more... More

We have stayed just one night at the Bamboo hotel, and the scenery was just perfect (especially when you wake up). We have taken the room with balcony, and it was wonderful. the bathroom was nearly as big as the room itself, huge bed. Althought the room seems to be a bit old, you just can get the comfort you... Nice hotel in a good location. Shops, restaurants and bars all nearby. Hotel staff are nice and speak fairly hood english. Rooms clean tidy and has everything you need. Not flash but view from room makes up for it.

We stayed here for one night after catching the overnight train to Sapa. Very friendly staff and very helpful. One lady in particular call Ana I think. She could not do enough to help us. We stayed on the fourth floor and the scenery from our balcony was absolutely beautiful over looking the mountains. When shopping go one street across... More

We booked the hotel because of the nice pictures and (better ratings then present) ratings on TripAdvisor. It turned to be a very funny, but bad hotel. Here are some funny moments that you would expect to see in the best Fawlty Towers episode, but really happened.: - The people at the desk speak very poorly English, Strangely all the... More

This Hotel could do with a bit of TLC. We stayed as part of a package and may not have picked it by choice. The room was comfortable and functional but showing it's age with plumbing leaks and poorly maintained fittings and fixtures. Views from our room however were priceless and breathtaking.
