We loved the Victoria Hotel Sapa. It is dated admittedly, but the staff are friendly and the service is excellent. The food served there is very good and professionally presented. We had beautiful views from our room.

I was unsure as to what to book for Sapa as the reviews for all places were generally mixed - similar experience to when I was booking in the Cameron Highlands (Malaysia) - something about mountain areas perhaps? This hotel turned out well for us, albeit pricy but we did book it with a package with the Victoria Train so...

An attractive colonial style building in this former French summer retreat. We had just the basic ("Superior") room which was spacious and had all we need for a two night stay. Rooms are dark because of the stained floor and woodwork but the sun shines through the patio doors. Some modernisation is required, especially in the bathroom, although everything works...

A great hotel. You won't be disappointed with your experience. Upon your arrival, the welcome is very genuine and warm. The rooms have a warm patina created by the bamboo and wood floor. The service was truly enchanting, and the breakfast was one of the best we had in Vietnam. The croissant were world class. The only negative was the...

This hotel is set just back from the centre of Sa Pa. A nice hotel, the room we had was fitted in darkish wood with TV, mini safe, mini bar etc. Called a Superior but was basically their normal room. The room was on the ground floor. This made it readily accessible, especially with cases and it had a small...

This is a lovely hotel which is what you'd expect for the money but which lacks a little character. I can't fault the extensive breakfast buffet, the professionalism of the staff or the rooms but I didn't leave feeling that I'd want to go back. I suggest that if you're visiting Sapa, it might be more fun to stay in...

We enjoyed the friendly attentive staff and the many relaxing rooms and pool table. Rooms were beautiful. Location is excellent and close to all. Only downsides are breakfast buffet is only 3 star, pool bottom is oddly and dangerously slippery and showers need upgrading. All in, we recommend.

I stayed here recently and enjoyed the experience. Firstly this is a throw back to the French colonial era and whomever sited the property did a great job of finding a location that has breathtaking views of Sapa north and south including the mountains. Not sure what other property offers this in Sapa. The hotel reminded me of lodges that...

It was raining all of the time and very misty during our stay in Sapa. Everything was wet, our clothes, shoes, hair. The region however is very beautful.
