The best part about booking your stay with victoria sapa, is the chance you get to travel on the victoria sapa train from hanoi train station to sapa, lao cai station. The train is very spacious especially for an Indian traveller. We were booked in a 4 berth compartment however due to less bookings we got the compartment to ourselves....

We travelled up on the overnight train which was great fun and the transfer to the hotel was smooth and efficient. The hotel room was clean and with fantastic views over Sapa. The hotel is very well laid out so that I would guess all rooms have a view. Breakfast was the usual buffet with everything you could want. We...

This a nice hotel in Sapa. The staff are attentive and the rooms are clean. The views cannot be beat. The daily breakfast was nice. You need to be in good shape because to and from this hotel when walking requires a lot of uphill climbing and the swimming pool is an uphill climb.

I would give this hotel 3* max. It's ok, does the basic stuff competently, but nothing special, about average, what you would expect from an average hotel. The fact it has a swimming pool and sauna probably bumps it up to 4* but from the point of view of a hotel stay, it is average and over priced. For example,...

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel . The service was excellent and the views are some of the best in Sapa . It has a lovely pool and shower area to use if you are arriving early and leaving late by train . I recommend booking direct with the hotel as they will take care of train and...

This is very nice hotel. The room and breakfast were very good. The caveats are: 1. The hotel is in a location on a hillside above the city. To get to the city by foot, you need to either go down rather steep stone stairs, perhaps about 60 stairs in all, which were slippery when wet, or walk down the...

Very comfortable rooms & amenities. Great buffet breakfast with all the usual suspects. In addition to the egg station, 2 delicious traditional Vietnamese offerings. Ask at reception about the shortcut into town.

We stayed 2 nights & enjoyed the comfortable rooms. After trekking through the hill trails it was a relief to return to the quiet oasis of our hotel. We had an enjoyable dinner at the hotel on one of the nights as we were too tired to face the short but steep hill climb to return to the hotel. WiFi...

The hotel is top class and the staff are super friendly and professional. The location is OK but on top of a steep hill. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Only problem is I didn't sleep much due to the local cockerel calls. Every 5 minutes from 3.30 am. Finally needed earplugs.
