We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and has great facilities. Staff are absolutely amazing and very helpful. Breakfast buffet is also good. Infinity pool has spectacular views, although was quite cold. Overall excellent experience and would recommend to anyone visiting Sapa.
Wonderful experience. Beautiful view from the hotel room. Can see train and beautiful mountain with rice terraces from the hotel balcony. The hotel chief concierge Chau is very helpful. She speaks good English and giving us a lot of good advice throughout our stay. If I ever return to Sapa. Will really consider staying at Pistachio Hotel again.
I would rate more than five star if I could. I stayed at Pistachio Hotel Sapa for a night. The staffs there especially Ms.Chau were really helpful and friendly. She did confirm my bus ticket to Hanoi and also provide all information I should know even I did not book the ticket with them. I also rented a moto from the hotel which the price was similar to other shops. They gave me the super new moto with full tank of gas. Breakfast was fantastic. There were egg and pho station. I would definitely go back if I travel there again!
Views (on non-foggy days) were incredible and rooms were a good standard. However, what could have been a relaxing break in the tranquility of the mountains was spoiled by constant and very very loud building works happening right in front of the hotel, on the side with the majority of rooms and the rooftop pool & bar. These went on all day until at least 10pm at night. It appears to be an enormous construction project currently only at the foundations stage. We eventually asked to be moved to the other side for our last night only to then have the road noise (better than the incessant demolition works but no balcony, no views, lots of beeping horns). The hotel also has tiled corridors meaning every night’s sleep was interrupted by loud echoing corridor talking from other guests. We were also disappointed by the outrageously high laundry charges (fixed PER item rather than per kilo as with everywhere else in vietnam eg ) which, given that Sa Pa is a base for people trekking and exploring the mountains with frequently rainy weather, was very inconvenient. We instead had to lug our laundry down the hill to other cheaper hotel laundry facilities. I would also recommend walking down hill before flagging a taxi, we found any taxi booked by the hotel had an apx 200,000D mark up. Sa Pa in general is beautiful. This hotel has the potential to be good and has a fabulous vista but if you’re sensitive to noise, or were hoping for some tranquility in the mountains, I wouldn’t recommend this at the moment.…
I have been staying in many hotels in Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi and Sapa. Pistachio and Eco Palm Resort are the best so far! I was staying in 5 Stars Mc Gallery Hotel Sapa, Eco Palm Resort and lastly Pistachio Hotel for one week and can see the differences. Sapa do not actually entertain solo traveler well. I was being rejected by restaurant and it cost more for any event. Luckily I stay in Pistachio Hotel and the lobby and restaurant staffs are super professional and help. Firstly I want to comment on Ms Minh Chau, the lobby manager. When I reach the lobby, she do not hesitate to approach me and seeking any help I may need. After short chat, she know that I was from Singapore and she mention she has been working in Singapore before. I updated her that I was not entertain by restaurant and she quickly provide a list of restaurant that provide the dishes that I would like to try and entertain solo traveler. At the end of the day, she also help me call the bus agent that pick me up at hotel. That was great! She speak English very well and have superb knowledge of the area and services that foreigner needs. She make my trip so wonderful that I want to come back to Sapa and stay in Pistachio again. I have my lunch meal in the hotel restaurant and having Salmon Hotpot. By right it was to be serve by 2 people but the restaurant specially made for me solo portion. The soup is super yummy and drank the whole pot of soup! The waiter in the restaurant was help and help me cook my salmon fish and the restaurant manger also work in Singapore before, that is helpful to provide any needs I require. It was a wonder and happy meal I have in Pistachio restaurant. I once saw the whole group of staffs include managers when out to the lobby to do clean the parking area, reeling, staircase, etc. It was amazing that they all work together to make it a good place for tourist to stay in. All the lobby staffs are exceptionally good and helpful. Serve me cold drink many times and relentlessly asking anything that they can help. Compare to 5 stars help, Mc Gallery in Sapa, they fail to perform that. The services in the hotel were great that they provide list of itineraries that we can arrange with them. Furthermore, they provide small souvenirs and weather information on the next few days for those who stay. Only problem I have with is something beyond that Pistachio can do. Is the huge crowd of local people that is extremely no**y. Expecting breakfast timing to be unexpectedly difficult to enjoy. Another area is that credit card payment are not available in the skybar and restaurant. However, it can be made at the lobby.…
we arrived pretty early because of the overnight bus but their staff are extremely welcoming which was unexpected. Shout out to all staff here Chau, Nhan (I don’t remember all their names but they made our trip much easier and convenient). Highly recommend this little Pistachio. if u have a chance to travel to Sapa, definitely check it out otherwise you’ll miss out a bunch
Our stay in this hotel was amazing! :) Upon arrival we were welcomed with a cup of tea and were shown to our room by a lovely lady Ms. Chau. She’s super nice and friendly. She never failed to greet and chat with us whenever we meet her at the reception. She also helped us arrange transport on our last day in Sapa. Bedroom is very spacious and has a balcony overlooking the mountains. Though it was a full occupany, hotel premises were kept clean and tidy. The infinity pool is stunning. Enjoyed an afternoon dip whilst admiring the breathtaking mountain scenery. Gym, spa and indoor pool are available too. Breakfast buffet is massive. Wide selection of Western and Asian dishes are available. Highly recommended. Thank you so much! :)
Fancy and welcoming hotel, with an amazing infinity pool, with endless view to the mountains. We stayed in pistachio for 2 nights, was lovely experience. The staff are so nice, and pleasant. It has great meals, and the bar at the top offers great cappuccino and fresh juices. The pistachio hotel is nearby the center of Sapa, there you can find many shops and restaurants. Totally recommended.
Our experience in this hotel was fantastic. We had a exhausting ride to Sapa after a long 8 hours. We arrived at the hotel very tired and drained. The staff there greeted us and were very friendly and helpful. Our customer relation manager had upgraded us to to the President Suite which came as a unexpected surprise as we had only booked the basic room in the hotel. The view in the room was spectacular and we could not get enough of it! Our manager was also very helpful in arranging transport for us to the places we wanted to go, which saved us alot of our time. Moreover, the floating breakfast was also one of the best attraction in the hotel. The experience of having breakfast in the pool alongside the mountain scenery was magical. We really had a great time in the hotel and the service is really commendable, we would definitely return to this hotel!…
I love the staffs here. The location is great and the breakfast is so delicious!!! Lov it! All staffs are willing to help and the price for this hotel is so reasonable. The room is very neat and have a room service not only in the midday but at night as well
