Kebun Villas Bali is a hidden paradise lying on the slopes of Mount Batukaru in central Bali, 500m above sea level. The 10 uniquely furnished guest cottages are set in a lush garden, and the swimming pool is surrounded by rice fields. Kebun cafe has a bar and a terrace overlooking the 2 hectare garden and the view down to the sea. There is a gift shop next to the cafe, and so many Kebun guests ask about our antique collection and special tropical hardwood furniture, we also take orders for these.

Had a great time at Kebun villas, such a beautiful place! Clear that staff were kept during covid, as everything very well maintained. Owners incredible friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Staff very friendly, food good, gardens stunning! Highly recommended as a place to stay, kick back and enjoy the beauty of Bali

We conducted a retreat over 3 days at Kebun Villas, and this is probably the first time I truly understood the word retreat and the experience that came with it. The hospitality and organization of our stay was impeccable: from airport pick up (2hrs ride), iced lemongrass drinks that greeted our arrival at the Villa, well thought out menus that gave a deep appreciation of Balinese cuisine, clean and comfortable rooms, and most importantly the eclectic designed resort set in lush green nature and padi fields that made us relax and connect within ourselves while we were there :) The villa assisted to organize a trek (2 hrs) through the nearby village on our last morning. It was a breathtaking experience as we saw terraces of padi fields that could rival that in ubud, chicken farms, and villagers going about their daily chores. Thank you Sheila, we will definitely be back again!

Rooms and bathrooms are really spacious and clean. The whole place is so serene, peaceful, and close to nature. Perfect place to just detach from the fast pace of life. Woke up to a sunrise by my window. Beautiful rice fields, beautiful sunrise, amazing indonesian food. We did a coaching retreat there, with sound bath, it's just beautifully serene and relaxing. Im also ridiculously addicted to their hot lemongrass tea. Thanks Shiela & Laura for the warm hospitality. Will come back again!

I stayed in Kebun with friends for three nights in December - but it felt like we were transported for a week or more! We hopped over from Singapore for a Long weekend, and the trip was made simple by a Kebun driver meeting us at the airport and getting us up to Kebun without any fuss, stopping for lunch on the way. When we walked into the reception and restaurant we all gasped - it’s full of Indonesian artefacts, so many interesting nooks and crannies we started looking around straight away! And then we noticed the view...you can see all across South BALI, to the Coast and as far as the airport. We felt instantly chilled. Kebun is situated on a hill and with a Valley feeling, walking around the gardens, you feel You could explore all afternoon. The gardens are planted beautifully and lead all the way down to a swimming pool which is next to a padi field. Watching the sunset colours on the ripe rice that was due for harvest was incredibly relaxing. It was just bliss! We felt so relaxed, connecting with nature and with a strong sense of being in Bali, not any old resort. Sheila, our host, helped organise a trek in the local village and an interesting detour on our way back to the airport three days later. It rates as my best BALI trip, after ten years of visiting this beautiful island. Thanks to the lovely and thoughtful staff for helping make our stay a true break from our hectic Singapore lives!

The rooms are modern, clean and quiet. The lounge reception area is gorgeous filled with original Balinese crafted furniture, a nice well stocked bar, from the terrace on a clear day we could see all the way to Seminyak. The tropical gardens at Kebun villas are truly superb, with winding paths that lead to our room. The pool is great for swimming or just relaxing, it gets cool in the Bali hills but the pool temperature is perfect for swimming. Food is fresh well cooked and a good selection, Luxury in Paradise enjoy.

very big room with a huge bathroom…, and a nice balcony overlooking the garden and beneath the swimming pool, and the rice fields all around… we were the only guests in this hotel, so it was very quiet

Beautiful gardens, great local food in the restaurant, good service and staff and a very attentive owner - Mr Dedy. Rooms are terrific and the room I had had very comfortable bed, hot water in the bathroom, spacious bedroom and a fantastic balcony out front over-looking the gardens. Tranquil and has a real touch of Bali rural. Good little souvenir shop too.

Stayed here 2 nights. Had a wonderful villa overlooking the rice paddy and a dip in the pool. Unfortunately, there were no monkeys here as the wildlife is more suited to tropical birds and butterflies. I and my wife enjoyed trekking and eating breakfast overlooking the beautiful tropical forest and rice paddy. Owner Deddy was extremely nice and speaks excellent English. The staff were friendly too.
