I stayed at Palm tree house in March 2020, just at the beginning of the virus pandemic, and whilst I was lucky enough to receive pretty specialist treatment given that I was alone at the villa for most of my stay (and including during the special festival of Nyepi, the Balinese New Year), I could not have felt more at ease, thanks to the owners’ and staffs’ exceptional diligence. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed into the PTH family, and felt like anything I needed was never too much trouble. The food by Chef Wirtana was healthy, tasty and beautifully presented. The gentle yoga sessions with Frankie were relaxing and calming, and she is great fun too. The week-long treatment package including massages, facials, reflexology and more, was out of this world, and I felt truly pampered. I was also grateful to have a call with the in-house Ayurvedic medicine specialist, despite her having flown back to the Netherlands with her daughter the previous week, thanks to the pandemic. Between the comfy bed, spacious room, elegant architecture and beautiful pool area, I really enjoyed the surroundings. But it was the staff that made the biggest difference - Manik, Komang and Yuli in particular took incredible care of me, both while I was there and in the weeks following, whenever I needed support through the challenging times we all found ourselves in. The owner Trent also went out of his way to help me from the moment I was in touch with him, and including when I needed to get a package delivered. I was very happy to also support their charity for orphan children in Bali. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend PTH to anyone who is looking for a restful, relaxing but also inspiring retreat, where you will feel like one of the family from the moment you arrive ❤️

Wow, wow, wow!!! It's hard to explain in writing just how wonderful this place is ...you just have to book it! Due to COVID it took me several attempts to get here, to the point where I was ready to give up, but I am so glad I persisted! Palm Tree is an absolute dream... faultless surroundings, food, service, yoga, spa, the whole trip was pure luxury yet with a feeling of genuine love and homeliness. All the staff were so positive and smiling, always making sure I had everything I needed, and even though I was the only guest, I never felt lonely as it felt like we were all part of a family. I have been to Bali many times, so I was already aware of the special Balinese hospitality, but the team at Palm Tree really surpassed all my expectations. In fact, I loved it so much that I ended up deciding to stay on in one of their villas for a month! Thank you thank you thank you ... Mama Putu and Chef Witana, Manti, Yuli, Frankie, Yura, Mita, Manik, Riyan, Vikri, Putu2 and anyone else I have missed. I will be seeing you around! :) :)

It took me a while to write this review as I stayed in the Palm Tree House back in October but I do feel the need to point out, what a wonderful place this is. I stayed at Villa 4 for three nights before moving on to the sister retreat (Escape Haven). It was my first ever solo trip and I didn't know what to expect and how I felt about my (selfish) decision. All I knew was that I needed a break. I arrived at Villa 4 late at night and Kadek greeted me with the biggest hug...I honestly had no idea how much I needed this until he gave me this big squeeze. Kadek and Ari continued to pamper me to the max throughout my stay. They are the most wonderful, warm and welcoming people! It was just a short stay for me but pure bliss and an experience I will never forget - mainly because of all the amazing staff! Thank you Palm Tree House for this wonderful Memory!

I had a wonderful week at Palm Tree House. Originally I was suppose to stay at Villa 6. There were some troubles with construction next door, so I got upgraded to Villa 4. Villa 4 is tucked away. It's peaceful, larger and much more private. Staying there was absolutely amazing! The staff is wonderful, friendly and super helpful. We had a lot of fun! The house has two dogs Roxie & Ricey. They are sweethearts and Roxie loves to cuddle. Yoga instructors were great. I managed my first hand stand! All spa treatments were fabulous! Food was delicious and super healthy. The stay isn't cheap and I had to save up to come but in the end I was very happy with my choice. I was sad to leave! My tip is to splash and choose Master Suite Room or Deluxe Room. Their standard rooms are quite small and not in the best spots of villas. My other tip is to make sure you write in emails clearly what are your requirements. Or avoid dealing with Palm Tree booking agent Tia entirely. I felt like she 'pushed' me into choosing a package option that wasn't suitable for me. Luckily Manik, the Palm Tree Manager, was incredibly helpful and thanks to her and team from villa 4 (and team 6) I ended up having the most relaxing and lovely week.

A much needed retreat and respite during crazy times!!! The staff at Villa 5 - Ayu, Mama Putu, Manti, Wati and so many more - they all made my week in Bali heaven on earth. Our little Villa is very homey and the staff made sure we were comfortable in our home away from home. Breakfast and lunches were filling and delish, clean Balinese cuisine. My package did not come with dinner but there are plenty of restaurants close by or the villa staff were helpful with doing delivery orders. It was lovely always having fresh coconut water handed to you when you returned from yoga, a workout or a day on the beach. I think you get an excellent deal with the price and what is included. Villa 5 is literally a 3 minute walk down the main road from the beach. Oh and massages everyday? Yes please and thank you! All the therapists I had were wonderful with the treatments. There is no doubt Palm Tree House Bali is on my list of places to return to for a relaxing retreat from reality.
