This small hotel is located in the center of Canggu area, even though it is not on the Canggu main road. The hotel is located in an alley, but it is quite easy to find this hotel, because it is located not too far from the main road.
The advantage of this hotel is that the hotel’s atmosphere is quite calm and comfortable. The staff also very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant is facing the rice field area which is beautiful, so that at breakfast you can while enjoying the natural coolness of the beautiful rice fields, even though breakfast choices are limited. The bedroom was quite comfortable, clean and have a small balcony, although the size was not huge. The hotel’s location was also not too far from downtown Canggu and several tourist attractions there, such as Batu Belig beach, several beach clubs and restaurants. Swimming pool and sitting room were also available at this hotel. Wifi in the room was ok too. You should choose a room that is close to the Wifi access point.
Lack of this hotel is the parking area. This hotel only has a parking lot for 1 car. But this hotel has enough space for motorcycle parking. So if you bring a car, maybe you are forced to park your car on the side of the road, in front of this hotel. In addition, cable TV channels are very limited. You should note, that the hotel restaurant is only open from morning until 4 pm. So if you want to have a dinner, you should leave the hotel or order food through online applications, such as go food or grab food.

I’m here for a month and I love it. The room is very good, fridge, safe, hair dryer, air con, comfy bed. The pool is a good size. You need a bike or use local Gojek to go to the beach although I’m happy to walk. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. I tried the restaurant tonight and although there menu is not extensive it’s was very very good, tasty and really well presented withal the added touches. I had a cocktail too that was perfect. Nothing not too like.

I moved to this hotel after falling ill and not being able to cope in a hostel. The staff went above and beyond to help me and allowed me to check in early so I could rest. The room was clean and the aircon was very good.
Very peaceful villa and lovely pool area!

Beautiful boutique hotel, everything just perfectly compact, well thought, gorgeous, and clean. The room are soo comfortable and the amenities is soo complete that you can compare to 5stars hotel amenities.
Highly recommended everyone to book including the breakfast! Their Morrocoan and Turkish menu are top notch đź‘Ś

I have a mixed opinion of this hotel. I'll start by saying that I had a nice stay, my room was comfortable, the hotel is clean and the upper breakfast area is really nicely laid out with surprisingly good breakfast for the price. As others have mentioned, the location isn't the best, but we had a motorbike and actually enjoyed being on the quiet side of Canggu.
The reason I say mixed is because some of the rooms in the hotel (that I saw from the outside) were really scary. Like in front of sewers, or with views of walls, etc. I'm sure they try not to assign those rooms but in my opinion, those shouldn't be rooms at all. No guest would be happy there. The hotel also seems really short staffed - I think only 4 people work there... so if you need something, better to get it yourself. Finally, there is a lovely pool, but not family friendly. It's very deep with no shallow end. Good if you like to swim laps though!

We recommend this hotel and enjoyed our stay, however we felt that there was room for improvement. I will start with the negative and then go on with the positive: a few things in the room were broken like the shower handle, a hanger, a missing hook in the bathroom from which some water was constantly dripping out of the wall. Breakfast was good but not the best we've had and the portions were quite small, except for the nasi goreng. Having said that, the staff at the hotel is extremely nice and helpful, and the hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. The beds are so comfortable and the pool is well maintained. We found the location -which was remote from the beach- to suit us because we rented a motocycle and it meant that it was quiet at night.

I had a chance to stay at Umpadhi Hotel Canggu. The hotel is very homey. It feels like you stay at your own house. I think this boutique hotel has its own unique ambiance.
I enjoyed the breakfast on the second facing the green Paddy Field. Not to mention that it is very breezy on the second floor.
The staff is very friendly although there are some room for improvements for the service, but all good.
The best thing was I got upgraded from Superior to Deluxe which is so much bigger. Thank you very much ^_^

We stayed here on arriving in Bali to rest up and acclimatise! The staff are exceptionally helpful and polite though during non busy hours/periods they can be a little hard to find but are all trained well to deal with any request. The breakfast is really good, I would especially recommend the Indonesian breakfast. The pool is clean and well serviced all hours of the day, staff will bring you towels when you go for a dip and turn the lights on during the evening. The room was large and serviced daily to a very high standard. Complementary bottles of water each day and they offer a small drinks and food menu out of hours which is well priced for Canguu. Close to some very good restaurants. Locating the hotel for taxi drivers can sometimes be a little hard so it is worth screengrabbing your location before you head into town. Taxis cost between 20-40k to get to the seafront. Would 100% stay here again!

New hotel with 20 rooms, fantastic terrace overlooking rice fields where you can enjoy your breakfast.
Booked a superior room for 2 nights which was spacious.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Big pool (in comparison with other pools on Bali). We very much liked the style and design of the hotel. recommendation: rent a scooter (organised by the hotel, 60k per day)
the kitchen closed at 7pm which we were not made aware of at the check-in but in fact was not a problem as we were mobile. I am unsure if this is the standard closing time or if it was due to low occupancy at our stay.
In order to protect the local taxi organisation the hotel does not allow the drop-off/pick up by online booking services such as Grab/Go Jek, similar to many other hotels/guesthouses in that area. Personally, we are not fans of such banns, but time will tell if their strategy will be successful.

Have stayed here around 5 times now, often for a few months at a time.
It’s more of a hotel than a homestay, with 24/7 security & room service.
Huge pool, really well decorated and massive comfortable beds.
If I didn’t find my own villa, I’d probably have ended up living at umpahdi.
