Hotel's Favorite
It was our first time in Kovalam and Taj Green Cove made it a memorable one with their warm hospitality. We arrived at the resort by 3 pm and the staff welcomed us with tender coconut water and sea shell garlands. We stayed for three nights in a garden facing cottage which is quite big with an outdoor sitting area offering views of the lawns. The entire resort area is surrounded by greenery and there is a lagoon within the property where we had the complimentary boat ride in the evening. A part of the resort is along the coastline and one can view the amazing beauty of the sunset and the Arabian Sea. Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet is served in the Jasmine bay restaurant with a wide variety of delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The restaurant BAIT specialise in seafood and offers breathtaking views of both the lagoon and the sea simultaneously. We tried Kingfish in Bait and it was one of my favourite sea food dish till date. Complimentary tea/coffee with delectable cookies, cakes, fritters, puffed rice etc is served to all guests in the evening by the seaside accompanied with live music. The resort also arranges various activities for the children, viz, Archery, kite flying etc in the evening which our kid enjoyed thoroughly. The entire team of Taj Green Cove is very professional and looked after us very well during our stay. The hotel is child friendly and our kid enjoyed a lot during the stay. Special thanks to Jasmine, Mugal Kalita, Pradeep, Venigopal, Md Tausif, Nikki, Shivaramakrishnan, Krishna, Prakash Mahato, Anuraj, Sanjeev and the entire team of Taj for making our stay a memorable one. Amazing experience at the very beautiful Taj Kovalam and dinner at Jasmine Bay. The live band performance just beside the swimming pool created a wonderful atmosphere to go along. Staff service specially Pragati, Raghav and Pramod felt very homely.

We had such a fabulous experience at this hotel. It is BEAUTIFUL! The staff are amazing - warm, friendly, professional and interested. The spa facility was excellent and the staff expert at what they do. Although tempted not to leave the hotel and its facilities, we enjoyed a morning at the nearby beach, plus a day sightseeing. Overall a fabulous break and definitely will visit again.

Well furnished cottages enveloped by nature. Loved the resort for its food, greenery, lovely swimming pool and extremely Warm staff. The evening high tea and boating in lagoon added to the amazing experience. Pls don't miss the jogging track, mesmerising Sunset view and early morning feel of the Sea. My best wishes to Green Cove. In the lap of nature. Nestled on the property is a lagoon and 22 acre (if I recall right) of down right stunning space with warm, friendly and gracious people. I loved my time with my elderly parents at Taj Green Cove! I could hit pause and stay paused for a bit. This of course while I sipped my beer surrounded by lush green. There is a sea facing restaurant on the property, which is an amazing spot for some down time. I was a tired traveler, so I really needed a space that was cut off from the hustle and bustle of metropolitan living and that rested my ankles in a space coloured green. The name is appropriate, the sea was beautiful and the property sprawled out wide and far. I never felt the need to step out. I did feel though that while the manager and the staff went out of the way to make our stay wonderful (thanks Shahzad and all his team). The bar could do with a little bit of a face lift. The bar manager did a fabulous job making our drinks! We had a sea facing room and the buggies did come in handy for my 75+ father, as there is cobblestone pathways that take you from the room to the main lobby. It’s quite the walk for those who may have age related ailments. The rooms are large and in sync with the wildlife and natural habitat. I love that this property promotes being one with nature! So it encourages guests to be gentle to any bugs, mosquitoes, or the odd ants that we spot while there. We did not use the pool, but the property has a lovely big pool in case one wants to take a dip. The food was good, the hospitality was of Taj standards and just all in all a lovely stay. Thank you to Shahzad, the front office team, and the bar staff. And special thanks to the folks manning the buggies. Excellent stay. We had a great holiday and left with a very memorable stay, made so by the super staff at the property. Taj Green Cove is a superb 16 acres property, where you get to see the Arabian sea and the Backwaters and also get a taste of the infinity pool. Lots of activities for all such as boating, Kite flying, Chess, Carrom etc etc. An absolute great Taj hospitality. Excellent rooms which give a very Balinese effect. It's an almost plastic free resort. Green and more lush green all the way. A special thanks to the GM Mr. Varghese, Mr. Vinpogal, Ms. Abhirami, Mr. Raj and all others.
