The lodge is in a great location on the Kenai peninsula, Alaska. It is central to fishing areas at a number of sites including deep sea from Homer, and various rivers and lakes. They have friendly and informative staff who can tailor your holiday according to your preferences.

Thank you for your very kind and thorough review. We appreciate you recognizing the performance of our staff and our guides. Our choice of staff and guides is a reflection of our commitment to deliver a great experience for our guests. It is very cool to know that some of the fish that you caught with us made its way all way to Australia and that you were able to enjoy it with your family. That makes us feel really privileged to have had a positive influence on your lives/family halfway around the world! Take care and we hope to see you again soon. G-day mates! (Couldn't resist but know it is a cliché)

My two sons and I came for a fishing "experience" and got it. Everything about the Lodge is so well run, nothing is left to chance (not even breakfast items if you leave at 3:00 AM!). The real treat were made to order breakfasts when you didn't leave at 3:00 AM. Best of all it

I have been going to Alaska for over 20 years, and not all places are equal. Steve and Monika go out of their way to ensure first class accommodations, and make sure your fishing adventure exceeds your expectations. If weather finds you can't go halibut fishing - they work

Thank you very much for the kind words. We recognize that there are many lodging/fishing options out there. When we first embarked on this adventure 20 years ago, we wanted to differentiate ourselves from the pack. We set out to establish a high level of service and a high quality of service. Over the years, we have fine-tuned our art and by and large we believe that we accomplish what we strive to achieve. Your words definitely substantiate our belief. Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

I planned a fishing trip through Soldotna bed-and-breakfast and then tore a rotator cuff. I was afraid I would have to cancel the trip of a lifetime with my son. Steve at Soldotna B&B assured me that they would take care of us and they did big time. We had fantastic time, caught

You do not have to make the reservation online. You may make a reservation by phone or we can communicate via email. Package arrangements are made in advance. Most commercial airlines permit two 50 pound pieces of luggage per passenger. In lieu of luggage, you may check-in "fish shipping boxes" as luggage. If they exceed 50 pounds you will likely have to pay extra. When we pack fish in our "fish shipping boxes" to be checked in on an airline, we do not put more than 50 pounds in each box. Also, you may have to pay extra to check-in additional boxes. Basically, in terms of cost, airlines consider "fish shipping boxes" no different than luggage. However, the airlines do not cover for loss or damage of "fish shipping boxes". I see breakfast and lunch are included. Where do people eat dinner?
There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance or just a few minutes driving distance from our Lodge. If you expand out to 10-15 minutes by car, there are many more restaurants. For bigger groups (10 people or more) we can offer catered dinner or lunch at our Lodge. For all of our packages, we provide a bag lunch or lunch is provided by the outfitter. Guests are always welcome to use our outside Bar-B-Q grills to prepare lunch or dinner. There is also a common microwave and two common refrigerators for guest use. To buy supplies, Safeway is just a few minutes away by car. Many guests take advantage of the beauty of our property to enjoy a dinner eating outside and enjoying the view of the river.
