Mel, Eric and the folks at Krog's Kamp made us feel welcome - almost a part of the family. Mel organized two salmon fishing trips and one halibut trip, and provided delicious breakfasts and lunches. We really enjoyed our trip and our stay at Krog's Kamp.

"If you are traveling with a fairly large group or if you can afford it, ask for the one cabin closest to the bank, so you can keep on eye on it!"
"Pick a cabin close to the river so you can monitor when you are able to secure a fishing spot on one of the decks."
"Have an idea if you want to fish, take tours to see glaciers, see wildlife, go hiking or whatever you want and they can plan your itinerary for you. There are no bad rooms at Krog's. They are cabins with porches, grills, bathrooms, comfy beds and clean towels and clean sheets."
