I might hammer the name here but our guides SeaBazz and Nate made my first fishing experience a blast and the made me feel like I was even good at it, lol! I learned a ton that day - like I did not know you don’t need bait to salmon fish; just a weight and a hook. I caught 4 of the 6 salmon I could have got. I caught one poor little baby Bourbon so that was unfortunate for him, but my friend caught all 6 salmon and she limited out first that day. This place must be known all over for a great experience because we ran into a fellow small town Arizonan on the shoreline. What a great day it was! You can’t beat the outdoor life in ALaska nor can you beat the great service provided by the businesses catering to tourism and this business definitely contributed to my opinion of that!

8 of us stayed at the Castaway lodge at Alaskan Fishing Adventures and it was an amazing trip. The accommodations, the staff, the meals, the fishing guides, everything was first class. You won't be disappointed.

We flew out to a remote location by seaplane and fish for half a day and it was everything we could have asked for. We caught our limit of silvers and sockeye and saw grown bears and their cubs fishing alongside of us on the river as well as right in the lake. Awesome!

Brooked 4 days of fishing though this company for the 2nd time, first time was 2 years ago and was amazing. This trip in 2021 started off rough, inclement weather, captain wasn’t very personable, we were able to get out and fish, the captain started us on rock fish, we were hurried and only ended up with half our limits each. Then we went after bigger halibut, the captain dropped anchor and only allowed us 45 mins there, after that he took us to the chicken whole to get the boat limits, still didn’t end up with limits for everyone on board. Also would like to mention that particular boat didn’t have any toilet paper for females or for men for that matter. Should be a little more gender friendly. 2nd, 3rd & 4th day of fishing were amazing, limits every day with great guides, very knowledgeable and super nice. 1st day had left a sour taste in our mouth, so glad the next 3 trips were awesome.

The team at Alaskan Fishing Adventures did such an outstanding job planning our trip for our dad! From the amazing, daily adventures that included ocean fishing, river fishing, and a fly-out, it could not have been a better trip. The staff was amazing and super hospitable, even changing our itinerary at the last minute when we asked to do another day of ocean fishing. All the guides they lined up were top notch! Highly recommend you ask to be paired up with Captain Jon for ocean fishing, Cory for river fishing and Derek for the fly-out! It’s a trip you don’t wanna miss with a company that is top notch!

The Burner family has an incredible operation. We had an amazing time at Angler’s Lodge. Nice rooms, great food, and a very professional knowledgeable staff. We were welcomed and treated like family. The captains, mates and guides are top notch! They worked their tails of to make sure we had great time fishing. Incredible setting right on the river, with all you could ask for in a lodge. We are definitely going to be repeat guests!

Booked a 60th birthday trip in February for my two older brothers and myself. Put down a 50% deposit, then came Covid-19. My one brother has heart problems and recently had a 3rd stent inserted. That's background for our unfortunately having to cancel our July 17 trip, we just couldn't take the risk given the virus is still prevalent. I understand their refund policy, but I thought given the circumstances they would at least refund something, but no, they said they needed the money to keep the business running. Well, I need the money to keep my household running. Very, very disappointed and if/when we do get the chance to celebrate his birthday it won't be with these guys.

My dad and I needed an adventure. We chose big Halibut and Alaska. Such an epic trip. From the super friendly staff at Anglers Lodge to the over the top fishing we experienced. My dad and I couldn't have asked for a better trip. I highly recommend going out with Capt. Chris on the overnight trip out of Seward. The scenery along with big freaking Halibut and a fast acting warrior crew that never let up on the fish. I've been on a lot of fishing trips and this was a pro outfit that fishes hard. We filled the box with limits on everything they would let us keep. There isn't anything as exciting as the sound of a shotgun going off as you haul a giant 100+ lb Halibut on the deck flopping while the crew goes to work on it. It is a site and the Capt. and his crew made it an absolute fish on riot! Capt. Joe out of Homer was on point as well. We had a blast pulling in fish and hearing the interesting stories and knowledge from Joe. Stand up guy and his daughter makes the best chocolate chip cookies! Both trips were unique and over the top in their own ways. To sum it up. Don't take a chance with another outfit. These guys are pro. The staff is awesome and they treat you like family. My dad and I can't wait to do it again. Thank you Soo much. Maybe next year guys.
