First time going to Alaska to fly fish. I would say that it was a trip of a lifetime but I've already booked another trip for this coming June. And a Fall trip. We went after Pike on the fly, Lake Trout on the fly, Grayling on the fly and Rainbow Trout on the fly. Every day was absolutely off the charts amazing. And flying into the lakes and rivers was unreal. Definitely a highlight of the trip. We also were able to do some bear viewing which was really cool. Dr Bob, the owner of the lodge is such an amazing guy. He knows Alaska and knows where the fish are. Super fun guy to hang out, fish and sit by the fire and chat. All Alaska Outdoors Lodge is one of those places that you just want to keep going back every year which is what I hope to do!

The trout fishing on site along with the grill and fire pit really made put our trip over the top. The accommodations were superb the beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space for our belongings. They have coolers on site for use. A must stay while in Soldotna or the surrounding areas.

If you come to Alaska you need to look up Bob and Monte at All Alaska Outdoors. They have a great lodge and nice boats. They always steered us toward fish, even when the fishing got slow they changed things up and got us on fish. Great hosts, beautiful lodge, and expert guides made for a trip of a lifetime.
