A million thanks to proprietors, Jeremy and Andrea, for their hospitality and absolutely perfect trip planning. We stayed in the ridiculously charming cabin #4, which has a tiny footprint but an amazingly functional layout. Complete with a full galley kitchen, eating area, sitting area, first-floor bedroom and second floor loft, the cabin easily accommodated our family of 5 (there’s a queen bed in the bedroom and three twin beds in the loft). The cabin comes with linens and towels and kitchen implements, and a stocked charcoal grill. Silvertip also sports a fire pit for s’mores, and a fish-cleaning house, so you can process, vacuum seal, and freeze your catch right there at the lodge. Silvertip is really conveniently located to allow for adventures all around the Kenai Peninsula. Don’t miss out on fishing with Drift Away Fishing, also run by Jeremy. He knew all the best spots for sockeye on the Kasilof and wouldn’t rest until all of us, even the kids, caught their fill. He was knowledgeable and conscientious and ensured we had a great day. He and Andrea also recommended High Adventure Air Charter for fly-in fishing and bear viewing, which was a truly outstanding experience, a taking a water taxi to Grewingk Glacier from Homer, a marine wildlife cruise from Seward, and a glacier float from Girdwood, where they also rent a charming little A-frame. Each experience was as unforgettable as the last. We travel a lot, primarily internationally, and I can honestly say, this was one of our best trips ever.

My husband and I came to stay at Alaska Silvertip Lodge and Cabins for an Alaska staycation visit as we were feeling we needed a change of scenery from our home. We were excited to see Alaska Silvertip Lodge and Cabins is offering AK Staycation discounts for Alaska residents for both their cabins and fishing excursions this summer. The cabins are located in a great location close to the Kenai River, grocery stores, and good restaurants. If you are into cooking your own meals, there is also a fully stocked kitchen. The cabins are private and spread out perfect for social distancing. We stayed in cabin #2 and it had an ample amount of space and was super clean. They have a great fire pit, fish freezers, and a fish processing room for vacuum packing your fish that is also super clean. We highly suggest checking out these cabins for a getaway this summer!

Our stay at the Alaska Silver Tip Lodge and Cabins was top notch. The cabin was large and comfortable with Wi-Fi, filtered water, king-sized beds, and a nice Alaskan charm. They were clean, and the owners Jeremy and Andrea are the best of hosts. We spent time at the campfire, grilled up some excellent fresh fish, and had great fishing access. The staycation deals for locals right now are a hit. I’d recommend this place to my friends and family in a heartbeat.

Our family of 3 stayed at Silvertip for a weekend in May. We appreciated the extra precautions taken due to Covid. The cabin was super clean, warm and very comfortable. Having a full kitchen was ideal for our family. Beautiful setting in the woods, nice and quiet. Loved the evening fires and s’mores. Jeremy and Andrea have a great place and are very knowledgeable about things to do in the area. Highly recommend!

We took advantage of Jeremy and Andrea's very generous Alaska Sta-cation offer and spend a wonderful night with them over Memorial Day weekend. Their cabins are beautiful, clean and comfortable. We brought our food with us and were able to cook a fantastic meal for an anniversary celebration. On Monday, Jeremy met us at the Kasilof River, just off of the Sterling Highway and we drifted for Kings the entire day. It was absolutely beautiful and Jeremy was incredibly skilled targeting fish for us. We plan to go back again this summer. They are offering special rates for Alaskans and this is an Alaskan family you will want to stay with.
