Excellent BNB. Wonderful location and hosts, delicious breakfast. Amazing views. We had a very spacious room with a king bed and a single bed. Bed was comfortable. We would return and highly recommend this beautiful location. Thank you! Five star.

I don’t usually write reviews unless we have an exceptional stay. We had an exceptional stay here. Teal was very welcoming and showed us around the property when we arrived...fantastic grounds and wonderful fully equipped kitchen and sitting area for the use of guests. The fridge stocked with fresh milk, juice, and yoghurts for use by the guests was very much appreciated. Also little bowls of chocolates were a thoughtful touch, There are only four rooms so the place is very peaceful and not at all crowded. The room (#1) was incredibly spacious and comfortable with beautiful views from 2 sides . Very comfortable bed and cozy private bathroom with incredible views and snuggly towels.
Breakfast was served at 8:30 - each room had their own socially distanced table in the common area. The food was home cooked and delicious with fresh ingredients and you helped yourself to tea and coffee from the kitchen.
Overall can’t recommend it highly enough...if we ever go back we’ll definitely stay again...it was one of the highlights of our trip.

My wife and I booked a night at The Inn At Tern Lake at Moose Pass, AK, as our first night stop after disembarking our cruise ship in Seward, AK; because, we wished to have a "centrally located" place from which to explore the Kenai Peninsula. This is a very beautiful spot and facility. Quiet, peaceful, very homey, comfortable rooms, great breakfast, whims
7yical garden paths, and a "make you feel at home" accommodation by the proprieters. It does require a drive of a few miles to get to a lunch or dinner venue; as this establishment only provides breakfast. Don't let that stop you!

Lovely inn on a small private body of water, natural setting, large and well appointed rooms. Home-made cookies and coffee, tea or hot chocolate in the evening. Great recommendations for local sites from the owners who have deep roots in the area. Delicious breakfast. One of the nicest places we stayed!

This is a gem in a land of many amazing things.
The Inn is SPOTLESS, comfortable, welcoming, peaceful, beautiful, fun and affordable!
Rose, Jeff, Teal and Ruby work hard to make your stay perfect. They feed you a wonderful breakfast of homemade food daily, coffee and tea. They give you great tips about the area. There are activities for kids- Tennis, B-ball, Golf, Paddle boats and a beautiful view.
Also, homemade cookies every evening....... woot woot!!
We had 2 rooms and they were clean, comfortable and we all slept well.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Inn at Tern Lake for anyone that wants to enjoy their visit to the great state of Alaska.

This was our final stop on a recent trip to Alaska. It was our favorite place. The innkeepers were congenial and helpful, the inn itself was spotless, the breakfast was outstanding and the scenery was breathtaking. We saw mountain goats on one mountainside, Dall sheep on another, moose along the road and salmon in the streams. A peaceful and restorative “base camp” for exploring a large area of the Kenai Peninsula.

I can't recommend this place enough. We stayed there for our winter honeymoon and it was amazing. Jeff and Rose gave great recommendations for what to see and do (and what what open). Rose even arranged some hockey gear for us.
The property itself was stunning, the views from the windows incredible, and the location between anchorage and Seward was excellent.

The breakfast cooked every morning was also amazing. If you are planning a trip to Alaska don't miss out!

What a lovely property! We had room #4. There were 3 of us so the extra bed was perfect. The room was large and well maintained. The balcony overlooks the mountains. The Inn was perfect. Located very close to Seward yet distinctly away! The breakfast every morning was delicious. The Innkeepers are very friendly and attentive. The tennis and basket ball courts on site are just perfect after a day of site seeing. Plan on going there again next year. The entire area is very pretty.

Stayed here for a friends wedding, could not be happier with how everything turned out. Very well ran, food was incredible, and the family that owns it are fantastic people! You will be well taken care of. The location is unbelievably gorgeous. Very close to multiple hiking trails. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately I have to give this place one star because of their dishonest behavior in treating their customers.

1. Their wifi does not work. We tried multiple times to connect and it kept on failing. Other people who stayed in this place had the same issue and none of us manage to connect even the owner did spend time showing us the wifi works well in his own living quarter.

2. Breakfast was served after 8:30 am. Since most guests would try to get out of the house before this time as it is one hour drive to the exit glacier and even further to Seward, it is difficult to get a bite without running late of your schedule. Actually we had breakfast only once during our two nights stay.

3. Their dishonest behavior is what bothers me most and has been the worst part of my whole trip. We arrived as three people and was offered one extra bed in the room. Since we were sharing one room and no extra expense was mentioned when Jeff the owner assisted us with a lot of friendliness, I was totally shocked when getting a bill instead of $422 of promised $350 for two nights as I checked out. Rose, Jeff's wife who charged my card told me this is because we had one extra person , however I was never informed of such extra expense when we checked in.

Charging more than $70 for one extra person without any notice is just dishonest and this completely destroyed my good impression for these people and their house before.

I have travelled to many countries and stayed many different B&Bs, this is the first time something like this happens. I believe being honest is the most important thing as an business owner and therefore I would not recommend this place that charges money without notifying and failing to deliver what it promised on its website. (wifi and super late breakfast)

We would like to thank you for taking the time to review the Inn at Tern Lake but need to respond to your unfortunate review, We strive to make all our guests have a positive experience. We have apparently missed that goal with your stay. We find it difficult to address concerns and needs after our guests have left our Inn especially when we are unaware of dissatisfaction. We believe your review inaccurately describes your visit and our service to you. Specifically, we had installed a new router to increase our internet service to our clients. It has taken a while but the band width has been increased and it now works fine. While you were with us you were invited into the main lodge to access the internet through a different system and you declined. We serve our breakfast at 8:30 am and inform our guests that time upon arrival. That allows us to prepare a hearty breakfast that suits most peoples needs. We often prepare earlier or later food service when guests have special needs. It is a simple manner of communication and a request. When you made a reservation request through booking.com you must have somehow mistaken double occupancy for three people. Our rates clearly state that there is an extra charge for an extra guest. There is no dishonesty involved. We always take the time to interact with or guess to insure their needs are met. We clearly missed the the mark with your stay and for that we apologize, We only wish we could have taken care of these issues while you were with us.
