Really enjoyed this lodge. The cabins we stayed in were luxe and very cozy. Remodeled bathrooms and very comfortable bedding. Unlike others, we were not bothered by road noise. Full breakfast every morning in the restaurant was very good. My nephews borrowed a boat to go out on the lake and fish. Very conveniently located near the Kenai River where...

After having had a lovely stay here two years ago, we returned with our 13-year-old grandson. We appreciate the beautiful cabins, the quiet, the location on Summit Lake with canoes to borrow, the breakfasts and the dinners. Summit Lake Lodge is secluded but convenient, a short drive to Seward, along magnificent scenery. It's lovely to be able to have dinner...

This was a place my husband chose to stay for my birthday, during our two week trip. He did well!!!. We stayed in cabin #11 in the woods. We were so surprised at how nicely appointed it was. Updated sinks and vanities(2), the shower was huge. I can't say enough about the bedding, best sleep we had in Alaska. Breakfast...

Beautiful setting and clean gorgeous cabins! We were more than thrilled with our two night stay in the lake front cabin only wish we booked a week .The cabin was more like our own mini lodge , perfect in every way . The views from your large screened in porch were amazing and changed with light of the day. The...

The owners have taken an old lodge with motel, bar and restaurant and made it into a modern up to date Lodging facility. They have added new cabins around the property. We chose the lake front with covered porch, electric fireplace and 2 recliners. With our in room coffee maker I found it great to drink my coffee on the...

We're were very glad that we selected Summit Lake Lodge for our recent 6 day stay on the Kenai Peninsula. Not only was it a beautiful setting, convenient to everything, it was also very clean and extremely comfortable. Having an individual cabin made for greater privacy and less noise from other guests. Next time, however, I would opt for a...

We spent 6 nights at Summit Lake Lodge in late August. Absolutely wonderful. The cabins are very clean, nicely decorated, wonderful bathroom/shower/sink arrangement and the VIEWS! We awoke each morning to an incredible view of the mountains and lake. An added bonus is the great food served at the lodge. The cook is great and the servers are outstanding. Overall...

What a great find! Friendly informative staff. Cabins were beautifully decorated. Great breakfast included. On summit lake with kayak rentals. We were lucky enough to view the northern lights while we were there. Only stayed for one night as it was a stop over to our next destination. No wifi was a bummer but otherwise it was perfect.
