This is my 5th stay here, and once again it was simply superb. The host, Jen, greets me like a close friend and will bend over backwards to make sure I have everything, and more, that I might require. I stay in one of the apartments and it is always clean and warm. I like that I have a full kitchen so I can have midnight snacks!! I eat at the hotel and often take a packed lunch if going out for the day. The meals are carefully thought out, very well balanced, tasty and delicious!

My husband and I stayed here on our way to and from our sheep hunt. Jen and her people are the best… seriously the best! Jen went so far to deal with and coordinate getting our sheep meat butchered and home to Idaho. The rooms are cute and clean, the staff is wonderful and the food is amazing. So pleased to have the opportunity to stay at this fun and charming place!

In McGrath for the Iditarod, so it was cold outside but always warm and welcoming inside. My room was spacious and comfortable and the food was good (last year we had the best cinnamon buns I've ever tasted). Nothing is too much trouble for Jenni and Sarah

Our helicopter broke in mcgrath and we had to bring in an extra crew, mx, and security. Although some stayed the night, the folks at mcgrath hotel extended the same hospitality to us all with a smile and warmth you'd expect from a small town family business. Didn't stay the nift but took a look at the simple but cozy and very clean rooms. Anyone familiar with remote Alaska knows the outrageous prices you can pay; not here. Lunch was fresh, quick, tasty, and reasonably priced. $15 for sandwich, salad, fresh fruit, salad, and cookies. Great experience! Thanks for the hospitality McGrath Hotel B&B!

Its the best kept secret in Alaska! The food is outstanding and the management/owners are some of the nicest I've ever met. You will also met quite the collection of people at the hotel and in McGrath. If you only have a two day break on a tour jump on a Penn Air flight and see Alaska. thumb's up

I had the experience of staying at Hotel McGrath when on a tour for the Iditarod. It is a beautiful little B and B with wonderful service, great hospitality. We even woke up one morning to a moose walking down the street. It gives you the true feel of Alaska. Jen and crew are excellent.

I stayed in one of the apartments affiliated with Hotel McGrath and ate my meals at the Hotel. Excellent, accommodation in a two-bedroom apartment with full bathroom and kitchen/living area, very warm (March,(Iditarod time) so late winter) comfortable and well-situated in the village. The meals are substantial and very nourishing for the cold days! The staff will bend over backwards to look after you and the public lounge/bar area of the hotel is welcoming, warm and a great place to arrange to meet up with friends or with locals who are taking you out mushing or sight seeing! I will be back next March and looking forward to it very much.

This is an outstanding Alaskan village hotel. They're pretty much the only game in town but still provide warm and friendly service. They have two locations in town, both of which are comfortable, in good repair, and have free WiFi. The WiFi speeds are decent and supported the VPN connections back to the office. I was also able to stream Netflix with only minor buffering. This is almost unheard of in these small Alaskan villages.
