Thank you Beth, Mark, Kevin and Eric for fishing adventure of a lifetime for our brother Don. Rescheduling 2020 due to COVID made it happen a year later but it was worth the wait. We all gained about 5# each from Kevin's cooking and Eric was phenomenal on the deck of the Beth Ellen. Saw more whales than I've seen in my life. Appreciate all you did to make it a great time in Alaska.

My brothers and I recently returned form our trip to Eagles Wings Wilderness Lodge. We had this trip booked for a year and a half and I must say that the entire trip was everything we expected and more. Mark, Beth and their staff (Cindy Gary and Chuck) did everything in their power to ensure it was a trip of a life time. The communication was great even with some COVID testing hiccups at the last minute. The lodge is beautiful, comfortable and well run. The beds were very comfortable and the food was great comfort food with homemade bread and deserts. We had great fishing with Gary for 3 days catching limits of halibut (small ones) many silver salmon and a few king salmon every day. On the 4th day Mark took us to the mouth of a small creek and Chuck guided us on a nice hike through the forest and along the creek where we caught numerous trout and a couple of silver salmon. I highly recommend Eagles Wings to anyone looking for an Alaskan experience with great people that make you feel like you are part of their family.

Arrived on Sunday by sea plane from Ketchican. Just a great one time experience flying over the water and islands on our way to Prince of Whales Island. When we got to Eagles Wings it was definately a wilderness resort with all the amenities we needed. Fished for three straight days limiting out each day on Salmon and Halibut. Toured Prince of Whales Island on the fourth day. Cabin was perfect and weather was ideal (end of July). Feel the value we received on this trip was definately there and the memories forever.

I have never seen people work so hard to insure that my stay ay Eagles wings was fantastic The entire staff were exceptional and my time there was truly a wonderful experience; meeting and inter-reacting with other guest at dinner as though it was a large family that was concerned with the comfort of each other

What a great place to take in the Beauty of Southeast Alaska. Mark and Beth along with the whole staff were wonderful. Very attentive to your needs and wants. Our guide Gary was very knowledgeable about the area after being a guide for the past 20 years. He knows how to put you on the fish and great resource for tips on improving your fishing game. All your catch is cleaned, frozen, labeled and vacuum packed in airline ready boxes for transport home. The food was amazing. Coming back to the lodge after a long day of fishing to a cold beer and some appetizers on the deck and smell of fresh made sourdough loaves still makes my mouth water. The lodge was clean and cozy and the nearby sauna was a great way to warm your bones after a long day fishing. We did some free dive spearfishing while there in hopes of finding some halibut, or salmon to take. Although we didn't bag any monsters, the water was warmer than you would expect and we did find a nice bed of rock scallops that were graciously cooked up for us upon return. All in all a wonderful trip to a most beautiful location with kind and knowledgeable staff and great fishing. What more can you ask for. Thanks again Mark and Beth and hope to see you guys again next year.

So good to hear all that Zeke! Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. We're always so thrilled when people share the experiences they've had here with us. Most often people only tell us personally, which of course is nice, but it's much more effective to write a review on TripAdvisor so others can also hear your thoughts. So ... THANK YOU AGAIN! Beth, Mark, and staff

Picture perfect secluded boat-only access accommodations managed by an excellent staff that cares deeply about a rewarding personal experience. This coupled by well-planned and hand prepared meals and daily appetizers that are absolutely superb. I had an amazing time last year with friends and an equally if not better time this year with my son. Maxed out silvers everyday and even nabbed a halibut to boot. The fly-fishing area is another unique part of the adventure that should not be missed and is great for some father son time wading in river learning how to fish from a totally different perspective. The lodge area is not crowded, neatly kept, has just the right amount of privacy, walking trails, available kayaks, welcoming fire pit and outside bar style area for sharing the days adventures. It was truly an experience that my son will carry with him for a life-time.

Greetings! I don't recognize this email address, but from the excellent writing, as well as the mention of the "father-son" experience I'm guessing it's Tom! Mark and I want to thank you so much for taking the time to write this excellent review. We really appreciate it very much. I think it goes without saying that we really enjoyed having you and Gabriel up here. It was such a pleasure to be with both of you. In fact, we have been meaning to write and tell you how impressed we were with Gabriel (if you ever need anyone to adopt him we'd like to be the first in line!). You and your wife should be commended for the fabulous job you did raising up a truly wonderful young man. We wish him all the best, and sure hope you'll keep us updated on his future endeavors. We'd of course love to have you guys up here again (maybe your wife and daughter, too? We'd love to meet them both, and it sounds like at least your daughter would sure enjoy all the crustaceans and insects up here!). Sending our best, Mark, Beth, Kevin, Gary, and Maddie (see especially misses Gabriel!).
