Our flight from Seattle to Ketchikan was turned around which delayed us the first night but Bob & Jeannie were great and offered to let us stay an additional night and start fishing a day later. The fishing was amazing and our guide was a blast. Great food in the lodge, fun game room, friendly staff, clean hot tub, clean...

This is a first class lodge, used mostly by fishermen (and women!) near Ketchikan on Prince of Wales Island. The clientele are largely repeat customers who appreciate a well run outfit when they see it. All your needs are taken care of from start to finish; pick up/drop off from airport, fishing boats, guides, cutting, wrapping and flash freezing of...

Our group of 8 stayed and fished at Fireweed Lodge for 3 days in mid-June, and had an excellent time. The lodge is family owned and operated with personalized service and a real pride of ownership. We give our trip a 5-star rating, and definitely plan on coming back to Fireweed Lodge.

I was on Prince of Wales Island last week for business working for the Alaska DOT. After our plans changed and our original B&B became unavailable, the Fireweed Lodge was recommended. After a week on the road it felt like coming to stay with relatives as we were invited into this homey lodge. Chace, the hostess and woman-about-the-lodge, made us...

I happened upon the Fireweed Lodge by chance on a work trip and it ended up turning the work trip into a vacation! The owner's and their family are EXTREMELY accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The lodge itself is beautiful and it is set in a quiet, peaceful location. The meals at...

I've been going to Fireweed for over 12 years for an annual fall fishing trip. I have taken friends and family and all have been impressed by the beauty, accommodations, food and service. I wont stay anywhere else and would recommend the Fireweed to anyone staying on Prince of Wales Island.

I stayed at Fireweed lodge on a summer fishing excursion with my father for 3 nights in June. it was simply wonderful. We took a float plane from Ketchikan to Craig, and a Fireweed van was waiting for us to take our luggage and get us to the lodge, about 45 minutes away. The staff were all very friendly and...
