My wife and I spent three nights at the Alderhouse B&B in late September 2014. We arrived by ferry and walked the several blocks (albeit up a steep hill) to this lovely B&B. Each morning the hostess, Alyce, prepared an outstanding breakfast which was served in her living room/den with a great view of ships and fishing boats plying the... More

This is a wonderful bed and breakfast with an outstanding breakfast. It is a little distance from Ketchikan so you need to plan on taxis or the Ketchikan bus to get around. There is a really nice hike nearby.

I really enjoyed my stay at this spotless and quiet B&B in Ketchikan. Alyce is a warm and welcoming hostess, and the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. She leaves homemade brownies for snacks during the day and offer and tea are always available. The bed was very comfortable and there is a welcoming living room to hang out in between... More
