We had a great time in Alaska. We caught lots of Salmon and Halibut. The Salmon catcher lodge was very nice. We had four fishing charters and our guides were really good. Mark was very helpful and made sure every thing went well. We were there from August 7 to the 14th 2016.

Terry and Mark did a great job during our stay; including hiring the guides and scheduling the daily fishing outings. The guides you they used were very experienced and professional. The lodge is first class, a great place to stay

The SalmonCatcher Lodge in Kenai, Alaska is absolutely world class! My brother and I were able to spend five terrific days with Terry and team during the second week of Jul. Owner Terry Johnson’s customer service, coordination and support to arrange multiple guided fishing trips were perfect. We had four different outstanding, capable guides on four different rivers, including a... More

We have spent 2 excellent nights as a couple at the Grizzly Den suite. We had everything we needed ( well-equipped kitchen, big bathroom, spacious living room) and a great host - who offered us fish to fry in one evening. In addition, Terry has cut and froze the fish we caught during one afternoon trip - although the fishing... More

We had booked a Deluxe King Suite for 2 nights in March via Booking.com. We received a phone call from the owner around 1pm on the day of arrival to ask if we were coming to the property. We said we were half an hour away and the owner said no problem, come straight here. When we arrived the cleaner... More

First of all i would like to say there has been an ongoing dialogue with this customer through Booking.com for the last 3 weeks. They have demanded a refund after staying at our place. I would like to address their claims as some are valid and explain their posting of this review even though they booked there room through Booking.com.... More

Terry and his staff does an excellent job in giving his guests the ultimate Alaskan experience. Orca and Grey Whales, Puffins, beside the boat while you fish. Watch out for Brown Bears while you drift boat fish for wild salmon. Fly out around a smoking volcanic mountain, then down close to a glacier. Catch more fish in a day than... More

Thank you Sam for your kind words. At Salmon Catcher Lodge we put our guests above profit. I believe this is the foundation that this Country was built on. This place is great! A little bit outside of town, but has all the amenities you can ask for. Nice bed, Full Kitchen, WiFi, Pleny of Seating, Full bathroom, TV, DirecTV, and plenty of storage. The road is quite slick in the winter, you will need at least FWD more likely 4WD.
