We stayed at Potter's House for only 1 night, as we left the next morning to Lake Clark. Polly was very nice and a kind and warm host, and we felt at home immediately. The guest room is in the house, but we felt seperated and undisturbed in any kind. The room was large and perfectly clean and so was... More

We stayed in Potter's House three night in August. We liked so much the place: the house overlook a large lake and there are two beautiful horses, chickens and a friendly cat. The bedroom was clean and orderly, the bathroom was spacious and very clean. Polly offered us a very good and abundant breakfast with delicious pancakes. She was very... More

Polly is an excellent host with sincere hospitality mindset. If you expect a professional B&B like ones in a big city, it may not work for you. However, if you expect peaceful relaxing moment beside a clear water lake for true refresing, I would strongly recommend. It also works well with a smal family with little kids. There are two... Not up to the standards I expected. Cluttered, disorganized; not a professionally maintained bed and breakfast. House smelled; water did not drain out of tub/shower; house not clean; junk and clutter everywhere, inside and outside the house.

I felt shocked and betrayed by Barbara’s review, especially after serving her a bacon and farm fresh egg breakfast at 6 a.m. every morning so she could go birding, and welcoming her in the evening to hear of her bird counts. My home is not dirty. The guest room and bathroom are immaculate, cleaned with disinfectant. I discovered the clogged... More

If you like a B&B with antiques and folksy touches, Potter's is not for you. Polly, the owner, puts you up with no pretensions in a clean and comfortable but lived-in home. So the salt and pepper shakers don't match, and the maple syrup is straight out of the bottle you buy at Safeway, and the walls are decorated not... More

Pauline is the owner of Potters bed and breakfast. She is such a warm, interesting, and well traveled person. She made the stay delightful. The house and the surrounding area is beautiful. The people and the beauty of the area makes you wonder why you are leaving to go back home. My wife and I would recommend Potters Bed and... More

The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful. She gave us tips for things to do locally. We had her canoe, kayaks and paddle boat at our disposal on her lake. She has a fire pit on her beach and invited us to join her roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. It was a very mild October. A moose even came to visit... More

I have stayed at the Potter's House B&B three or four times in both summer and winter. Its been great every time. It sits on the edge of a beautiful and peaceful lake. The place is clean and quiet and although its only a few miles from town, you would think that you're in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness,... More
