My boyfriend and I drove from Anchorage and stayed in the Kasilof Cabin for 3 nights and extended our stay for another night in the Kenai Cabin. Both cabins had a very inviting, homey feel and both had a beautiful view of the ocean, which was walking distance from the cabins. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchenettes/propane grill... More

This was by far the best priced lodging we had during the 10-day trip to Alaska last month. (Almost hate to say that for fear they will raise the price!) A bit of the beaten track, but well worth it as a halfway stop between Anchorage and Homer. The cabins are well appointed with the necessities of life, and the... More

Spent 2 nights in one of the cabins. The service was wonderful. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the view is to die for! Great place to stay- the cabin has everything you need. Coking supplies, gas grill on the deck and binoculars to look out at the water.

This cabin with a loft was in a beautiful setting. We got there on the late side. They had the place all warmed up and had soothing music playing. It was very comfortable there and the people that owned the place were pleasant and friendly. We walked around the grounds a bit before sleeping; all lovely. We had to leave... More

Randy was an excellent host. The Kenai Cabin was on the bluff. Great view, very clean. We wound up there after another near by resort turned us off by rude and unprofessional treatment. I'm glad this happened, because it caused us to go to Alaskan Sunset Cabins. We were extremely pleased with Randy and his staff. And the price was... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed the cabin as far as the furnishings, bed was very comfortable, and had all of the necessities that we needed in the kitchen. The view from the front window was a bit obstructed by the trees so it was difficult to see the ocean. Make sure that you take plenty of bug... More

Part of our wonderful experience on the Kenai Peninsula was staying at Alaska Sunset Cabins in Kasilof. Stayed in the Redoubt Cabin which was perfect for my wife and I. Clean cabin, very comfortable bed and decor was what you would expect in a cabin in Alaska - a huge Dall sheep head was mounted on the wall above the... More

I'm a little surprised with some of the negative reviews - My family (wife and 2 children 15,11) stayed in August and had a time of our lives - Randy was tremendously helpful and assisted me with storing 50lbs of Halibut. The cabin was very cute, clean and had a spectacular view of the bay and volcanoes. I wish we... More
