The Driftwood is a great hotel for re-grouping! After spending 5 days kayaking around Admiralty Island is was a perfect landing spot to regroup for our next adventure!! Staying here in a nice, large clean room with laundry room down the hall was just the deal.

This doesn't look like a very nice place; it is well used outside, but they are remodeling. Everyone is nice, and the beds are new and comfortable. We enjoyed having the kitchenette, and it was stocked with pots, utensils, etc. , so we could fix our own breakfast, lunch and dinner. Large TV. We stayed two different times, one week...

My wife and I stayed at the Driftwood twice in August. Our first stay was for two nights in a standard room and our second stay was for three nights in a two bedroom suite. Both types of rooms met our expectations and we thought they were both priced reasonably for what they included. Among our primary reasons for choosing...

We chose this place because of its convenience. They provided a free shuttle from the airport and are located near our departure point for a cruise. The room was clean, and the staff was friendly. The Internet connection is surprisingly fast, compared to many other hotels. The not so great includes noise, and lots of it. The walls are thin...

Easy access to all we needed.... 10 minute walk to restaurants. Room clean, good WiFi. Excellent free shuttle to and from the airport. Friendly staff but very much a motel feel with noisy car park at night. Close to supermarket to buy breakfast/picnic items. A pity no breakfast is served, but there is a coffee shop next door.

I'd stay there again, it's very much in Downtown Juneau and there's no problems with any items functioning. The Wifi was great and fast, even letting me get on netflix and watch a show. This is an older hotel. It has been around for awhile and it shows, but it also works. As I said, the staff were great, they...

Decent location and very clean rooms. Lots of space with a semi-separate living room and a full kitchen. However, it felt like a cheap motel and had zero charm. We stayed here one night because the Inn that we wanted was fully booked for one of our nights. It was a hassle to make the switch during our stay but...

We stayed here for four days at the end of our Alaska trip last month. The room was nice, basic, located on the top floor with a separated kitchen and sofa. It is the perfect spot to move around Juneau easily. Do not expect a 5 starts hotel but it is clean and provides a shuffle services for free to/from...

We requested a quiet room. Were put on the 3rd floor but next to stairs. Stairs are metal mesh and make a lot of noise when most people walk on them. Folks next door stayed up talking until past mid-night. We couldn't hear their words, but there was seemingly no soundproofing between the rooms. Then, next on the smorgasboard of...

Dear Marcia, I'm sorry to hear that we didn't manage to find you a quiet room. Usually the rooms on the third floor have much less traffic than those on the lower floors so we tend to put guests who request quiet up there, but it can be difficult to predict where noise will happen. I wish your stay had...

Clean. Comfortable. Front sitting area was a plus as was the small kitchen area. Back alley was a bit noisy during the night. Great central location in town so we were able to walk anywhere. Not new but was s good fit for us on our first Alaska visit.
