We traveled to Juneau for our glacier wedding/honeymoon and were very glad we booked with Pearson's Pond. Maryann took care of everything: helicopter, wedding officiate, photographer, cake, champagne and much more! This gave us peace of mind allowing us to enjoy our time, explore, and experience everything Juneau has to offer. The setting is great. Beautiful pond and garden with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the nature surrounding the inn. Maryann was a friendly, attentive host with a wealth of knowledge of the area. She recommended several landmarks and hiking spots which most cruise ship visitors are unable to explore as well as restaurants which are popular with the locals. Overall, this place is highly recommended, especially for an adventure wedding and/or honeymoon!

Property's Favorite Review
We stayed in a pond-side suite for four nights in late September, 2018. The owner and operator Maryann Ray tends to every detail in person, including making the most delicious breakfasts ever. She is also a fabulous "tour guide", making sure we saw and did the very best Juneau has to offer. She has owned and operated Pearson's Pond for nine years, and she knows everything you need to know or learn about Juneau and its spectacular natural surroundings. When our Taku Glacier float plane and salmon bake were jeopardized by predicted rainy weather, she arranged for us to go a day earlier than reserved and it worked out perfectly. The day we had reserved for this fantastic experience did turn out to be a total rainout. You need and want to stay here for any vacation in Juneau.

Ok. This is a nice place in a pretty setting, but is it really worth three times the local hotel going rate? Probably not. Granted, the place is nice, property is well maintained, but it is away from most everything, except the glacier.

We would hands down recommend Pearson's Pond to everyone as THE best way to vacation in Juneau. We are so happy we found Pearson's Pond instead of doing a cruise! Pearson's Pond is a perfect central location on The Road, so close to nature and in a beautiful neighborhood near the Mendenhall River, Lake, and Glacier. Maryann is the best. We felt like we were already friends just after talking to her on the phone before the trip. She planned an amazing trip for us and gave us all the best local recommendations, like great places to eat and go and how to avoid the cruise ship tourists. We absolutely loved the glacier flightseeing, Haines river float, and whale watching trips and having free days for all the rest of our adventures. During a portion of our stay, we were her only guests and she brought our delicious breakfast directly to our room, which we really appreciated. Can't wait to return to Juneau and stay at Pearson's pond again!

I am so impressed and appreciative for MaryAnne’s outstanding hosting while I stayed at Pearson’s pond. What a beautiful, serene resort with an at-home atmosphere. I appreciate not only the beautiful setting but the warm reception and hospitality to show me the best places to visit and suggest spots to eat. I can’t wait to come back, and enjoy Pearson‘s pond again.
