This bed and breakfast was such a delight for my daughter and I. Surrounded by rain forest and backed up to a pristine pond, complete with water lilies, one cannot help but relax. The feeling of complete safety is especially welcome for solo women with kids in tow, but also for everyone who visits. Maryann, the owner, is warm, present... More

Staying at Pearson's Pond is like coming home. The ambiance of the the Inn and the charismatic personality of owner Maryann prove to be a winning combination. The place is perfect for garden and glacier weddings, honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays, corporate retreats, luxury getaways, and even as a home base for fishing, dog sledding, hiking, and biking. Amenities are endless and... More

My husband and I just took our first trip to Juneau, in celebration of our 35th wedding anniversary. I had found Pearson's Pond on the internet, with great reviews from TripAdvisor. We were very pleased with our trip and accommodations. Pearson's Pond is in the perfect setting - - - far enough away from the busy downtown full of cruise... More

Pearson's Pond was the perfect place for us to call home on our Alaskan honeymoon. It is out the road a little bit, in the valley just a few minutes from the busier, more touristy area downtown which is nice. It is the perfect distance in between everything for a bike ride (which are provided) down to get halibut and... More

Our family was planning a trip to Juneau, Alaska to attend my son's wedding. Pearson's Pond was suggested to us as a place to stay. I can truly say that piece of information was the best advise I ever took. We occupied 4 rooms at the Inn and could not be more satisfied with the quality, cleanliness and overall service... More

Just by chance we found this little gem on the Internet. The ratings were good so I gave them a call. We had never been to Alaska and the proprietor, Mary Ann was so helpful in providing first hand info not only about her inn, but about Juneau in general. This was a special trip celebrating our 20th anniversary and... More

I will begin this review by telling you I was a first timer visitor to Alaska. I had nothing to go off of, or what to expect. I felt like every city would be the same as the lower 48 and it wasn't; it was BETTER. The beauty of Alaska took my breath away, almost every street is amazing and... More

We quickly felt right at home at Pearson's Pond. The property has a warm comfortable feeling to it and is very scenic and quiet. A good location for accessing various Juneau sites, but is far enough out of town that you feel secluded. The owner, Maryann, cooks excellent breakfasts and goes out of her way to make your stay comfortable.... More

We stayed at Pearson's pond for 6 days at the end of May-beginning of June. It was a wonderful, private place to relax and very central to many great hikes we took. Hostess Mary Anne was gracious and an excellent source of good local information. The included breakfast was different and good each morning--excellent coffee! Everything about our stay was... More

We stayed on Feb.16th for a mini after Valentines Day getaway. Being locals it's nice to have a modern, comfortable, romantic B&B where we live. From the beginning to the end it was relaxing and fun. The room was beautiful, rose petals on the bed, clean and comfy. They took extra care to make sure to accommodate food allergies and... More
