Great place, it was a bedroom apartment - kitchen and laundry. Breakfast included. Perfect location - in the middle of everything. Definitely would go back. By Douglas Island bridge - good food at Island Pub, and had fun Red Dog Salloon

This hotel is conveniently located and easily walkable to downtown. We booked it at a great price and it was a suite (stayed in off-season). Nice staff, too. Definitely would stay again and recommend it to friends and family.

I stayed at the Juneau Hotel over the Christmas holiday this year (2015). We had originally planned on hosting the dinner at my daughters house but a last minute issue prevented that from happening. I could not believe the outstanding support that Tom and Vicky (the general manager and his wife) gave me as we moved the event to my... More

We wanted to have a kitchen during our week long stay in Juneau. This hotel provided a full kitchen and all that we needed to prepare our own meals (except for an in-room toaster).. There was even a barbecue grill behind the building that we used to grill fresh-caught king salmon! So as far as being able to stock our... More

The hotel was easy to find - a large, red building right by the bridge between downtown Juneau and Douglass. The rooms are nice, almost like apartments, with a kitchen and laundry facilities there in the room. We got a suite with a separate bedroom with a door that closed. The living room had a sleeper sofa. This was a... More

This is the red Hotel with white writing to the right, while driving to from the valley (airport). I'm You can easily walk to the beach and harbor farm here. It's in a safe neighborhood. There is nowhere to eat and it's right on the street. If you get a deal than it may be worth it..

We're 76 year old independent travelers. Spent three days in a spacious two bedroom suite w/ kitchen, 2 TVs. Everything worked. Lamps were bright enuff to read by (a common complaint we have with hotels worldwide). Pillows and covers fine. Quiet. Enjoyed the breakfasts, Again nothing fancy but lots of choices. We saw a low flying eagle as we walked... More

Spent three nights at the Juneau Hotel. Not a fancy place but friendly and comfortable. The room was fine and quite quiet. The breakfast is simple but yogurt, toast, cold cereal and juice was adequate. It takes about 12-15 minutes to walk into town but we needed the exercise. We would stay at the Juneau Hotel again.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and was very comfortable. On the outside I was questioning the place, but on the inside its actually very up to date overall and offered a lot more than I was expecting! I would stay at this place again?? Of course!!

I would have rated this a 4 because we were happy to open the door to our room and find that it was an apartment with 2 separate bedrooms with a washer and dryer and small kitchen, but we booked 2 queens and received written confirmation of 2 queens several times. We called the night before to inquiry about a... More
