Juat arrived at the hotel now. Was so ready to void and looking for restroom. Unplesant experience with front desk Tina. Cant hold my urine anymore, I asked to use restroom, the restroom was locked. I was informed not for public use. I informed her im checking in and door is locked. She told me someone is using the restroom if its locked. Twenty minutes has passed, no one came out of th restroom nor was there any activity inside. Another employee came, She told me to ask for key at the front desk. Key that she Did not offer, key that she would have known if someone is using as that someone could have borrowed it from her. There are better hotels near to the downtown area. Juneau Hotel is old, needs upgrade, not so pleasant staff, not enough parking.

Dear Azevouche, I am sorry you did not find our hotel to your liking. By the way, our hotel is one of the newest in town, with plenty of parking space. Also, if another person is using the restroom in the hallway, of course, we cannot tell them to get out because you need to use it more. Have a wonderful day!

As a solo, senior, female traveler I felt the Juneau Hotel was a perfect fit for me. I felt secure and safe in terms of both location and cleanliness of the facility. I was also pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of my suite with separate bedroom, washer/dryer, full kitchen, living room and bath. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The airport shuttle was efficient. With the pandemic surging just now, I felt the Juneau Hotel met all safety standards. This was my first trip outside of my "bubble" and it was very comfortable for me. The rate was great, the location along the seawalk by the whale statue lovely and quiet (downtown nightlife is not my thing), and the walk (with visiting ravens and eagles) with luggage to my cruise dock was simple. To summarize, Juneau Hotel exceeded my expectations! Great hotel choice!

I highly recommend! Especially if you’re visiting for a few months, it is a very comfortable place. For example, it is fully furnished with a washer and dryer, which is hard to find in Juneau. They kindly give rides to and from the airport. They have great customer service, especially Gustavo, very friendly, very flexible, and very knowledgeable to help out. They provided cleaning supplies, sheets, anything I needed for the apartment. There’s a great view of the Juneau whale statue and the nice boardwalk right outside the doors, that leads to downtown. You can get great views of the channel and sunsets. I truly enjoyed my time here, it has the quality of a 5 - star hotel.

We stayed at the Juneau Hotel for three nights in early July while visiting the city during a vacation. It fit our needs perfectly. We arrived in Juneau by Alaska Ferry and a phone call quickly brought the hotel's shuttle to the ferry terminal - 12 miles out of town. Some pre-trip research had indicated that the amenities offered by the Juneau Hotel would be what we needed in the middle of a long trip. We found that to be true. Our two-room suite included a well-equipped kitchen. There is a large full-service grocery store within a ten minute walk so we were able to prepare all of our meals during our stay. That was appreciated after a long string of restaurant meals in other Alaska cities. The suite also included an excellent washer and dryer. This was also a great plus in the middle of a long trip. The suite itself was in good condition, clean with new-appearing furniture. The bed was fine and the bath facilities, while not luxurious, were more than adequate. The location is very near the state government buildings and the Alaska State Museum (very comprehensive and impressive!) The tourist district (think cruise ship terminal area) and the Mount Roberts Tram are about a twenty minute walk. Rideshare and taxis were available. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. And, the rates were absolutely reasonable. What more could one ask? The Juneau Hotel was perfect for us.

The rooms are clean and quiet. They have been recently refurbished and are near the water. It's an easy walk to downtown and nearby restaurants and a grocery store. There is no housecleaning due to covid but they will provide extra towels etc when you ask. The bathrooms do have soap, shampoo. They need to fix their website.
