Staff is very friendly , Rooms and Hotel are very clean with Xmas decorations with Xmas Music everywhere which is awesome. Rooms have Keurig coffee machines . Suggest a room on opposite side of road as lots of traffic all day and night but not a huge problem. Restaurant serves great food and large portions and reasonable prices. Totally happy... More

Room perfect and large and clean. lobby warm and inviting. Only thing that was below standard was that there was a dirty ratty upholstered footstool in the room. Breakfast had large servings, delicious.

I needed to come our capital city on business, but brought my family (including my small dog). We had a lovely view suite, and it was perfect. Separate bedroom allowed me to work, restaurant on site with great food, and room service. Convenient to downtown Juneau, and free wifi, and covered parking was so appreciated since it rained the whole... More

Staff are courteous and friendly, the initial impression is good because the hallways are freshly painted and carpeted. But step into the room and you're disappointed. Our room had a very soiled chair and ottoman, end table that is cracked and peeling. So unnecessary when a good steam clean and a coat of cheerful paint would take care of it.... More

Kind people, helpful staff, nice and spacious rooms, clean, good restaurant... Has everything you want and need for a good stay. Furniture may not be new, but the price is really good for what you are receiving. It is very close to downtown.

We picked this hotel for the affordability. It is a clean hotel which has been upgraded. The rooms are absolutely huge! Two walk in closets. Bathrooms updated and clean. Beds are semi comfortable. I would stay here again if needed. No complaints really! Accessibility was good

We stayed at the Prospector in one of their water view suites. This is a solidly reliable older property. No fancy frills, yet the suite was roomy and they did their best to not use stinky chemically fragrant cleaners for us. The two best features were the extra space and the water view.
