Wonderful accomodations, friendly couple willing to offer advice planning and mapping the best of Homer, and a SCRUMPTIOUS breakfast! If you stay once, you'll make sure to book this Bed and Breakfast again!

Juneberry Lodge has a breathtaking view of the Katchamek Bay...Marcia and Mannfried were wonderful hosts who told many stories and helped us to find the best sites and activities. They are a delightful couple who obviously have a true love for Homer and their B&B. The lodge sits on a hill a few miles from town which was perfect. Beautiful... More

We spend one night here and chose it based on TA reviews. Not disappointed! Delightful place, people, food. Helpful hosts pointed us to a dinner spot and shopping they thought we'd enjoy, and we did. Would stay here again if I ever find myself in Homer again.

The Juneberry Lodge was a great place to stay for two nights if you are planning to visit Homer, Alaska. It is a few miles east of town, but the view is certainly worth the extra driving distance. The hosts, Mannfried and Marcia, were most accommodating and made our stay there worthwhile. The rooms were spacious with a common living... More

My husband and I stayed at Juneberry for two nights in July. We were made to feel so at home at Juneberry Lodge. Our room was nice and I loved the sitting area with books about the history of the area. Homer is a great place and I had already made plans of things to do, but Marcia was so... More

Many thanks for your great feedback, encouraging comments and recommendation. We're especially pleased you enjoyed the books. We like finding interesting state and local books to enhance our guests' visits. And the fireweed syrup definitely is the favorite with mooseberry close behind! More

We loved this place-without a doubt the top B&B that we stayed at during our 5 week tour of Alaska. Marcia and Mannfried are so welcoming and helpful (professionalism with a sense of humor) guiding us through Homer and cooking up great breakfasts. Who could ever forget the ancient sourdough pancakes dripping with syrups made from local berries. It was... More

We stayed at Juneberry for four nights in early June and had a lovely time with our hosts Marcia and Manfreid. They are wonderful people and we enjoyed their company greatly. Unfortunately I was sick while I was there, so I probably spent more time 'at home' than we otherwise would have. But they were so lovely, I really felt... More

THANKS for you kind remarks and feedback. We enjoyed your visit immensely and greatly appreciate the feast you provided with the fish you caught. Please know that the black-out shade is back in place, and we appreciate your understanding of a less than desirable situation. We've learned that log homes are quite resonant so, for everyone's comfort and enjoyment, we... More

The hosts were extremely accommodating and breafast was terrific. They were very knowledgable about the area and we had great fun visiting with them and the other guests. Home is beautiful and the view from the home looking over the Bay was gorgeous.
