A most reasonably-priced, delightful B&B. My husband wanted to buy the home! We will always stay here if we can come back to Homer for more halibut fishing. Breakfast and friendly talks and meeting the neighbors was wonderful. Loved the beautiful garden Manfred tends.

What a beautiful home, inside and out! The landscaping, flowers, and birds were all spectacular. The inside was immaculate..very inviting and comfortable...and our host, Manfred, went above and beyond all expectations. Each breakfast was delicious and bountiful and served at a table where we could enjoy the beautiful view of Kachemak Bay!

Loved spending time visiting with Manfred, and We wish we could have stayed long enough to try all six of his breakfast offerings. Although the trophy's are not for everyone, they were obvious from the photos before we booked. Just wish we had a coffee maker downstairs as we are very early risers and don't care for instant coffee. Make...

The attention to detail spoke of the obvious love our host, Manfred, had for his one of a kind home. Immaculate, decorated with wonders of Alaska, surrounded by a beautiful property, I felt as if I was dreaming. One look out of our bedroom window and we were truly awed. What a stunning view. Breakfasts were very tasty and I...

No kidding! Best view, gorgeous gardens, gourmet breakfast (way earlier than usual for our convenience) immaculately clean, friendly hospitable host to greet us, if there were 6 stars we would have rated it a 6!! Even gave us a lesson on filleting halibut! Wonderful B& B .

A cozy B&B with a gracious host. We arrived quite late, but we were still welcomed. The two rooms downstairs were very comfortable. One had an attached bath, the other had a bath just across the hall. There is a gathering space with a mini fridge, game table and community info. Our host, Manfred, made an amazing breakfast, even though...

This house is lovely, with beautiful gardens and view. Breakfast a special treat, served by our gracious host, Manfred. He is informative and happy to help plan your day. We saw moose on the road from his house! Thrilling end of our stay.

We stayed with Manfred for three nights in July 2015 and had a great bed and breakfast experience. The view of the Homer spit and Katchemak Bay from our room was breathtaking. Manfred had some wonderful stories to share with us and his knowledge of the area was very helpful. His home was immaculate and his breakfasts were delicious. We...

We are two couples who stayed at the Room with a View B&B in Homer, AK for one night in August. The owner, Manfred Gaedeke, has two private rooms, each with a bathroom, on the lower level of his beautiful home convenient to downtown Homer. The view from his home is spectacular and we could not have been more pleased...
