Very nice ladies at the reception. We could choose ourself the site. Second raw is nice. Fireplace, picnic table, you don´t need more, cause you have this gorgeous view. :-) To walk to the shops and restaurants take you only some minutes..Pay attention, the raves are very aggresive. :-)But we saw also Seaotter swimming close to the shoreline. Eagles are... More

The location is great, right on the ocean almost at the end of the Homer spit walking distance to dozens of restaurants. No trees, gravel sites, facilites a bit run down, BUT, we had the best wifi connection we've found at a campground in Alaska! If you have to get some reservations made on a ferry, do some online banking,... More

This campground is a parking lot but the location is great. It is almost at the end of the Homer Spit with lots of shops and places to eat within a quick walk away. We stayed in a dry site right in front of the beach and would recommend as we really liked the unobstructed view of the water and... More

We are locals and have been visiting this place a long time. It is on the spit at the end. It has logs that separate the spaces for you to stay. It is rustic. There are fire pits and picnic tables. It has amazing views if on the beach or sides of the beach. The laundry works great and the... More

Great place to stay on the Spit. Beautiful setting. Nice staff. Clean bathrooms. Showers cost $1 but are hot and as long as you like. Wifi works in the laundry room across from the office. A short walk to the shops, restaurants, and harbor.

We stayed four nights in a dry oceanfront spot; pulled out every day to run uptown or drain & fill. Loved being right on the beach! The shower rooms are a bit rustic but clean, as were the restrooms. The laundry got crowded on a rainy afternoon but we all visited and had a good time. Staff was very friendly... More

You either get a terrific spot or a not very nice spot. There really isn't much in between. Not a lot to choose from in Homer in the way of campgrounds if you want to be out on the spit. Owner was very upfront about the good and bad, including spotty wifi.

This campground is right down the end of the spit. It has the best location as it is the closest to the shops and saloon!😀 the sites are fine (not the largest though). You need to pay for the showers. Electricity site was approx $48 - no water. There is a separate dump and water station at no extra cost.... More

Nice park! Simple, but had a fantastic view of the ocean. Easy to get to charter fishing boats. Seafood on the spit was delicious! There's NO big supermarket stores here, but you don't need them. This small "fishing town" offers SO much! And the "locals" are extremely NICE to all the tourist! Absolutely "loved" Homer, Alaska!
