Hotel staff was extremely friendly and room was clean and comfortable. Wish I had budgeted mire time there so we could have taken advantage of the fishing trips. Location was within walking distance of several dining choices and a very short drive to many more.

We booked a family room as we were travelling as a group of four. The room was spacious enough and the bathroom was nicely put together with ample towels and toiletries. Comfortable beds. Staff were very friendly and they had a great range of snacks and foods at very low prices to indulge in. The coffee maker in the room... More

We stayed at the Driftwood Inn for two nights while visiting Homer. It is located on a bluff overlooking Kachemak Bay and about a 5-10 minute drive to Homer spit. We found the Driftwood Inn to be very comfortable, clean and within walking distance to a couple of restaurants and the best bakery in the area, Two Sisters Bakery. The... More

We had booked a charter fishing trip thru another company and needed to spend the night close to the Spit so we made it at our 6AM check in. Central Charters was booked up and I asked for a recommendation, they said call Driftwood Inn. I did and they had the perfect room available for us. We were on the... More

We were in the "Captain's Room". It was on the second floor and had a beautiful view of the ocean and great sunset view. This is not a luxury hotel, but it was clean and comfortable. You could have slept 5 in our room. I think that would be tight, but there were 3 of us and we fit our... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Seaside Lodge. The room felt more like a home than a motel. It was clean and the maid did an excellent job. She even did our dishes!!! Had booked a fishing charter through them as well. Everyone limited out on halibut plus we caught cod which was a bonus. Would recommend staying here!!!

The room was clean and everything worked. Having said that, what you pay for a room reminiscent of a summer camp dorm is very steep, even by Alaska standards. I guess supply and demand are at work because there are relatively few options in Homer.

2 couples and a single stayed in one of the cottages (2 bedrooms and a loft). Large deck overlooking Cook inlet with grill. Furniture and bathrooms dated but clean. Beds comfortable. Walking distance to bakery, restaurant and small cafe. Short drive to Homer Spit with shops, bars, restaurants and tours. Location overcomes some minor maintenance issues.

Cosy and cute rooms in old fashioned inn. Facilities were clean and warm. Room was on the small side but had coffee machine and was warm and clean. Narrow stairs to take bags up but don't let that put you off. Parking outside and handy to beach and wildlife walk. Staff were really helpful and offered to and made a... More

Spent 3 nights. Room is small, like a small interior cruise cabin, but was adequate for our needs as we didn't spend much time in the room. But it is easy walking distance to the beach. Plus the staff is very friendly, helpful, and informative.
