We spent 3 nights in this RV Park. It was so nice and quiet. Not the busyness of the Homer Spit. If you want quiet and beachfront access this is the place. The showers and washroom were nice and clean and very convenient.

Hotel's Favorite
Homer was the first stop on our tour of Alaska that we were doing for our honeymoon. The staff at the Driftwood were very helpful and friendly, and even gifted us a bottle of local wine for our honeymoon, which we appreciated very much. The hotel is very unique and feels special. Our European style room was small but perfectly functional. The website does a very good job of describing each room, so we got exactly what we were expecting. The hotel is also very nearby to the beach so has some beautiful views and sunrises over the mountains, as well as being just down the road from the Two Sisters Bakery which was absolutely delicious. Homer is a beautiful, quirky little town which ended up being one of our favourite stops in Alaska. We’d definitely return to Homer in the future and would certainly stay at the Driftwood again!

I love the location of the Driftwood Inn, especially for families. You have Bishop's Beach on one side which is easily accessible by a trail down the bluff. You have several restaurants on the uphill side either right across the street, just down the street, or just up the street for a variety of flavors and cuisine, and you have the wildlife refuge headquarters just down (or up) the trail. When we checked into the Seaside Lodge our young girls danced around saying "we're princesses". That made the whole trip worthwhile!

old style or maybe European . Private rooms (ten on our floor) and two public restrooms , very clean. Staff very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Staff are folks from the lower parts, those we met were all retired and just like us enjoying the trip. Talk to them and you will find the good places to eat away from the tourist area.

If we could give a 10-Star rating we would!! From the moment we booked our stay at the Driftwood Inn’s Bluff View lodge and upon and during our stay, we were treated like royalty!! The spectacular views from our room took our breath away to say the least! Absolutely everyone, everyone were so incredibly professional, attentive, caring and most of all… the friendliest, most knowledgeable folks we’ve met in a long time. This was our 4th trip to Alaska but our very first time to Homer and what a wonderful surprise it was for us (coming from Vegas). Our incredible fishing trip with Ocean Hunter Charter, our memorable visit to the Kilcher Homestead with Sunrise Kilcher and Bear Viewing Tours were ALL booked and made possible through them, as well. Their follow up and attention to detail went above and beyond every step of the way. They never skipped a beat…What an awesome and refreshing vacation it was especially, after having been quarantined for months. It was like we died and went to heaven! Our only regret is we wished we could have stayed longer because they literally became like “family” to us!! Extra special thanks to Adrienne, her precious daughters, Terri & Mark, Marie, Rikka and Pricilla. Hence, we surely WILL return!! By the way… let me also add, that their restaurant across the street (AJ’s Old Town Steakhouse) was absolutely amazing too – The food was unbelievable!!! We would happily recommend the Driftwood Inn to anyone coming to this great city of Homer, Alaska!! Thanks so much for a memory-maker that will last us a lifetime!! Eva & Louis Peduzzi Las Vegas, NV
