My wife and I stayed here during part of our 17-day trek through Alaska. Excellent location. We set up the RV and then walked everywhere we wanted to go on the Homer Spit. Full hookups, very reasonable prices, quiet at night, clean RV sites and still other services we appreciated but never used (e.g., the showers or gift shop). Spacing is rather tight, but if you're just there to sleep...who cares? Some spots are right on the beach/water, so those would be ideal for people who just want to relax and enjoy the view. We thought it was a great way to visit Homer.

This is a large (100+ sites) just outside of town, and half way down to the spit. We were warmly greeted and assigned our spot - it was gravel, mostly level off gravel access roads. We chose a drive in site for our motorhome (not really set up for trailers or fifth wheels) - the convenient (full) hookups functioned properly. The drive in sites are more spacious than the rest of the pull through and back in sites in the park. We had a nice view of the bay when it wasn’t foggy or rainy. Their included cable tv was good, their included WiFi was also good - always providing a signal that was useful, also good cell service. The office complex houses a gift store, as well as the bathrooms showers and laundry with a book exchange. They also have an observation deck on the second floor.

Heritage RV park is a great park to stay at out on the SPIT. It has great amenities like: showers, laundry, Wi-Fi and grills you can use. It has hook ups for RVs and dump drains at your site. It was well worth the money we spent staying here. Thanks HERITAGE Staff for a great week!

We had a lively waterfront spot in our camper. Great views in all directions. Clean and secure bathrooms. Great location about midway down the spit. Short walking distance to great halibut meals. Plenty of information available in the office for things to do. A delightful slice of heaven!

Good location and great staff. Tight campsites with dump access next to neighbors picnic table. The waterfront campsites are excellent. They seem to go to caravans that book well in advance. The interior spaces are average, but better than other hookup options in the spit. Staff and showers are great!

As a local Alaskan girl (from Ketchikan and now in the big city of Anchorage) I can tell you this business is definitely run by Alaskans and looks out for us locals! If you are an out of town guest you will get to see how us Alaskans really are! We are friendly, kind, take of each other, respect each other and genuinely care about how each other are doing! That is how all the staff are at Heritage RV! They are an Amazing group of people and worth taking the time to get to know each of their names! Thank you Marina, Roxie, Sherry, & the wonderful night crew who make sure we have our favorite site ready for us when we arrive from Anchorage late on Friday night after working all week! Most of all thank you for taking such wonderful care of having a place to store our boat and 5th wheel and keep a careful eye on them during the work week between our visits! You will continue to be our Homer home away from home! Gunalchéesh ho ho!!!! (Thank you from the bottom of our hearts in Tlingit)

Impeccable service, super clean, fantastic attention to detail. Each site has a picnic table table and fire pit. Couldn't have asked for more and I'm picky! Great views and not in the thick of the boardwalk scene. Wifi worked great and I was close to the far end of the park.

This place is a little expensive but amazing location and views right on the spit with full hook-ups. Be sure to reserve early for holiday weekends if you want to be on the water. Walking distance to all the shops and charters on the spit.

Incredible setting (we booked a beachfront site), which has a firepit and picnic table with a great view of the water. All hookups which were well down. Restrooms were very nice. But note the park is basically a parking lot with few trees but if you have a beachfront site your focus is on the water. It did cost $72 a night ($78 with tax). Easy walk or drive to the Spit center although we did not care for it - basically tour offices and some stores.

We are an Alaskan couple who wanted to get away for a few days. This was the spot! Beautiful views and a walk on the beach right off our campsite. Hookups were easy, clubhouse and Gift Shop were spotless. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable without interference. We will be back!
