Our friends who live locally invited us to come down from Anchorage for a weekend here. The hot tub was out of order so the owner offered another property just minutes away as a cabana for us to use the hot tub at the other location. I could not have been more pleased about the owner's willingness to give us an optimal experience and problem solve to figure out how to make our stay great.
After the hot tub it was time to go spend time in the Bear's Den. What a spectacular place! We were steps away from the bluff sitting on our patio outside and enjoying the unimpeded view. The Bear's Den had a lovely homey feel and was the perfect escape. I hope to make a visit here an annual tradition! It was a wonderful getaway.

I stayed in the Otter Cabin with my wife and our pet dog to get away from the busy city of Anchorage. We had a peaceful and memorable experience at Kenai Peninsula Suites and Homer, Alaska. The scenery was beautiful with views of the ocean and surrounding mountains over the horizon. The location and cabin was cool, unique, and affordable. They also gave us military or government worker discount which makes us feel more welcome during our stay. The souvenirs at the gift shop were interesting and the food in the local Homer, Alaska area was flavorful. The local coffee shops in Homer, Alaska was amazing. This is a perfect location to explore the oceanside, Homer Spit, the mountains, and nature walking trails in the Homer area. Our dog loved the area and my wife loved exploring Homer, Alaska.

Thank you for everything! And thank you for being Pet Friendly!

Stayed a night this past week. Had never stayed in a property that offered differing room types like these, but they were unique and cool. Unit we had was large and had two floors. The bottom contained the beds and was a little like sleeping in the basement (beds were good). Upstairs living area had warm wood finishes, a deck with an incredible view and the kitchen/bathroom. Property has an increidible view of the bay and mountains. There is an outdoor fire pit which looked invited. Staff we interacted with were super helpful and friendly. Only drawbacks were a little road noise and place needs a little TLC (paint, touch ups etc.) Overall, very happy we stayed.

This place is unreal and pictures don't do it justice. The property is amazing with stunning views of Kachemak Bay. We stayed in The Puffin yurt. The craftsmanship of the log construction was something we admired during our stay and we couldn't stop talking about it. We loved it so much there we went and got groceries in Homer and grilled out on the deck during our stay because there is no way anything in Homer would be that enjoyable. The kitchen area had everything we needed! Loved having coffee in the morning wrapped up in a blanket enjoying the peace and quiet. My goal is to make it back to Homer and stay here again some day soon!

This comes a bit late, but is well appreciated. Thank you for taking time to share your experience and remarking about the sturcture and craftsmanship. What I loved most is how you wanted to be there so much so that you made it happen with groceries and cooking. Wrapping up int that blanket and enjoying your coffee confirms when I tell guests being here is like a giant exhale !!!! We are on board with your goal and hope to see you again one day. Thank you again. Arlene

This was the nicest place we stayed throughout our entire Alaska journey. We stayed in both the Puffin and the Otter cabin. I would definitely try to book the Puffin which is much more spacious with a much nicer bathroom but both offer the same incredible views.

The level of service provided truly exceeded my expectations. Arlene was such a delight and I appreciated her emails checking in on us.

Plus hot tub was AMAZING!

LOVE this place. Book it. You won't regret it.

Loved the Puffin cabin. It was a little adjustment having the bedrooms on the lower floor and the kitchen and bath on the second. Furnishings and supplies were very adequate. View was spectacular. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting this area.

Wow! I can hardly say enough about this wonderful place. We stayed in the Wolf's den for 3 nights. The design and craftsman of these underground cabins is amazing. All of the spectacular touches with rope trim, the way the walls are painted and the radiant heat. We had unbelievable views and it was incredibly private, even though Homer was only 10 minutes away. it is a great location! We did not want for anything- it was all provided. Lots of light, fluffy pillows and plenty of towels completed this package. You absolutely have to stay here!!

The hospitality here was awesome, plus the quietness, plus the scenery, flowers and cabins.
The nicest team you will ever meet in the hospitality industry.
Katy is a sweetheart and the place is meticulous and quiet.
We stayed in Mt. Cecil and it is awesome- three bedrooms and some nice kitchen
amenities like coffee pot and toaster oven and small refrigerator.
Cooper Landing is gorgeous with its turquoise water and the greatest salmon fishing in the world!
Caught our limit everyday.
Don't hesitate- stay at Heavenly Lodge.

We loved our stay at the Kenai Peninsula Suites! Not only are the rooms super-interesting, but the view is really stunning. The property was very clean and well-maintained, including the hot tub that we enjoyed each evening. It is located close to Homer but still feels quiet. Also, the staff was really friendly. They were able to help us with a surprise for our son and called us when we accidentally left a lovie behind so we could come retrieve it before we go too far away!

I stayed at the Eagle Nest cabin in March 2020. I knew from prior reviews that I would enjoy my stay, but my expectations were greatly exceeded. The people at the property were obviously motivated to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The cabin itself was wonderful. It has a deck /balcony overlooking the water & the mountains beyond. I could not recommend this place more.
