The hotel, restaurant, and overall facility was very good! Room was a bit small and furnishing dated, but being on the water the view made up for these minor issues. The food and service in the restaurant was outstanding.

Land's End Resort is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting Homer to fish from charter boats at the marina at Homer Spit. Be aware that the rooms do not have air conditioning and on warmer days in Homer the well insulated rooms can be stuffy. When we asked to confirm that there was no air conditioning, the...

Myself and my friend were treated rudely by both bar tenders. I politely asked to sample the local Homer made ale and was told "Sorry we don't give out samples. We really just don't have enough glass ware for that!" I replied with "Wow... that's a first for me... how do I know if I will like the product before...

I apologize for the service issues during your visit. One of the employees was not actually a bartender and unfortunately she didn't understand why we don't do beer samples, so obviously the entire exchange started our poorly and uncomfortably. Our bartender actually did end up comping your beer, but more to make amends for your experience up until that point....

Our room was in the old wing of the hotel - a fairly small room with a double bed and basic furniture - clean and well-maintained. There was a small balcony overlooking the beach and the view across the water towards the mountains was absolutely stunning at any time of the day. Blackout curtains would have been helpful as it...

We stayed 2 nights in a beautiful yet very expensive one bedroom condo - unit number 720. The space was lovely and the view was especially amazing from the master bedroom. Unfortunately this unit shares a wall with and its deck is right next to a unit that was occupied by people who owned their unit and didn't mind breaking...

Thank you for choosing Land's End Resort and I apologize that you were disrupted on the second night. We rarely have noise issues anymore, but it does rarely happen. Our night auditor reported that the noise was under control at about 12:15, I know that is frustrating but we were dealing with the situation. Though our morning shift was not...

If you're looking for a luxury hotel, this isn't your place. But if you're looking for good value with spectacular views, you will find it here at Land's End. The hotel is very clean. Rooms are not particularly stylish but are comfortable enough. But you won't care what your room looks like because you will be too busy looking at...

We nearly got bumped from a trip to Katmai due to weather, and hotel staff were great in moving our reservation. We had a beautiful view, and the room was very clean. The bathroom is tiny and the tub faucet leaked all night, but what the heck, we were tired, so it didn't matter!
