Great service! Awesome rooms with very comfortable beds! We hed a new stateroom and took advantage of big soaker tub and bay view. Was wonderful after a long tour on the seas on a rainy day! We left the balcony door cracked to hear the ocean while we slept.

Hotel's Favorite
I stayed here for two nights this past month and I was so pleased with this hotel. My room was beautiful (facing the ocean and the mountains) with a little balcony. The food was delicious and the staff really go out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. The outdoor hot tubs were a great feature after a day of hiking too! Special thank yous to Ruth and Derrick who went above and beyond the call of duty and were always so pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend!

Thank you for this perfect review of not only our hotel but a few of our Front Desk staff! With long double shifts and hours, they still greet every guest with a smile on their face and do whatever they can to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. We hope you return to the shores of Kachemak Bay again!

The Room was Nice enough, however, the views that the internet raved about were ruined due to all the bird crap left on the windows. They couldn't even clean it off before we got there. Then the jacuzzi that we had in our room couldn't even fill up with warm water. We started filling it up and about a quarter of the way filled the hot water ran out. Normally I wouldn't put a bad review for any place I stay, but for $500 a night, I expected better.Even the patio furniture had bird crap all over it. Again, I get it, there is a lot of birds. But for $500 a night, they should of cleaned everything and inspected it before we got there. It was even on the door witch could of been easily cleaned just by standing there, no ladder needed

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We do clean the lodge windows semi-annually. But as you can see the height of the windows and the location directly on the beach make them hard to maintain daily. We hope you were able to speak with Management during your stay about these issues and we hope you get another chance to stay with us in the future.

Rooms with a view! Spacious, good beds, small balcony with seating, nice bathroom. No breakfast included. Wellness available to be booked on appointment, but with a check inn time of 5PM there is not much time to do anything including eating and sleeping as well.

I expected more from a local hotel that calls itself a "resort." It had terrible quality toiletries, and no regular housekeeping. The restaurant wasn't able to accommodate a walk-in quests according to the front desk and reservations were required.

There’s really no way to describe this place accurately, you have to experience it. The view is world class, the rooms are wonderful, the service is great. You have to eat at the restaurant, because the food is amazing. Don’t hesitate- go!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lands End hotel. Went up the road to a famous watering hole and then had a nice dinner further up the peninsula. I would advise anyone traveling to Homer or fishing near by to look at this resort as a place to stay.

The Lands End is an older elegantly styled hotel located at the end of the spit. The rooms are like converted staterooms, giving the whole thing the vibes of a historical cruise ship like the Titanic. There is a restaurant/bar, coffee and gift shop on site. I recommend the beet salad for the perfect combination of a spicy, sweet, fresh and light meal! The rooms included a small bathroom with a full size bathtub and a small sink, some built in cabinets a small closet, a double bed with another hideaway bed underneath. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and small coffee maker as well. Key card entry and inside doors make for safe location from a single female travelers perspective. The location itself is ideal for travelers coming in via the harbor or deep sea dock, as it is easily within walking distance if you have rollers on your luggage. You are within walking distance of charters, tours, surfing, restaurants, bars, beach combing, fishing, horseback riding, tattoos, and countless other services. But honestly, just walking around gives amateur and professional artists more subjects than they could ever want. You can walk out the door and be guaranteed to see up close eagles, seagulls, seals, otters, starfish, and sea anemones if you venture down to the docks. If you miss your photo, just give it a minute or two and you’ll get another opportunity. The colorful parade of boats going past the hotel every day are a painters dream. About a half mile away is a great surf location, where you can grab a coffee and watch from the rocks, or bring your wetsuit and board to get in on the action. And if Rick hunting and beach combing is your thing, you are staying at the end of a mile long stretch of one of the best beaches in the area for that. Truly the best spot to enjoy what Homer has to offer. **bring an extension cord or plug strip if you need to plug multiple devices in. Limited plugs. Also call ahead if you are towing a trailer or boat due to limited parking.

They don’t serve breakfast, and the nearest restaurant is far away from the hotel. they don’t clean the rooms every day, and we stayed 5 days.... The only great thing is the view. I wouldn't recommend it

Thank you for sharing your review and feedback with us! Unfortunately, as much as people hate to hear it, we are still severely short staffed in our Chart Room Restaurant and therefore had to make the difficult decision to limit our service hours. We hope to have breakfast back again soon!
