My husband and I stayed two nights while visiting Denali National Park. We knew which cabin was ours because our name was written in large letters next to the door. Our cabin was spacious and very clean, with a great kitchen and bathroom. We were so grateful to find coffee supplies available, too! There were two beds, so four adults could sleep comfortably. Each cabin had its own designated parking, right next to or in front of the cabin. Very nice location, terrific accommodations. We highly recommend!

This was a wonderful place to stay. Three very comfortable separate cabins, beautifully decorated with full kitchens and baths, far away from the main road, so there is no noise. Only a 15 minute drive to the entrance to Denali National Park. A 5 minute drive to a Three Bears Supermarket which was excellent for food shopping. There are incredible mountain views from each cabin. I was there for 6 nights, and could have stayed longer.

We are not package tourism folks, and wanted to stay far away from Glitter Gulch. Glad we did! We didn't have an idea when check-in was, and rolled up at 2pm-ish ... to find a whiteboard with a welcome and our last names ... and an open door. Easy and Alaskan-style and we loved that. Everything we needed to know was spelled out on their bulletin board. The cabin was well-constructed, appointed with anything we needed, and super cozy (we did have the heat on in late August). We saw the owners roll by and they waved. We only had night here, and ate at very nearby 49th State Brewery, which was fabulously yummy. Gas and groceries were right up the road, though we had stopped in Wasilla for a beer/wine/sandwich stock-up. Probably unneccessary now with the grocery there. I wish we had longer there than one night. The drive to Denali is only 10 miles away ... so easy for those that DIY. Well-done!

Waited too late to book any of the major hotels so was searching TripAdvisor for an alternative and found Alaskan Spruce Cabins. Really glad there was nothing available in my four day time slot at the big Denali hotels else I would not have found this place. By my standards it is a piece of heaven. It was quiet and the owners were totally non intrusive but we knew they were there if we needed them. The views were outstanding especially the sunsets through the kitchen window. It rained just enough to keep us from spending a lot of time on the deck but not enough to hamper any of our outdoor activities. A couple of other reviews misled me a bit about finding the place. Absolutely no problem, roads were well marked and the directions given on their website were very easy to follow. I cannot say for sure how far the cabin was from the Denali Park entrance but I would guess 20 minutes tops through stunning scenery. Many reviews advised travelers to stock up on groceries in Wasilla or Anchorage before traveling to Denali or Healy but that is no longer necessary as there is a full grocery, service station, hardware store and liquor store in Healy, Three Bears, just before you turn off the Park Road to the cabins. Just to be sure we did buy a few things at Fred Meyers in Wasilla before heading North but it would not have been necessary. I wish I could give this place a rating higher than five stars.

We really loved the cabins. They are modern and well built by the owner. It is a quiet neighborhood amount the spruce trees and close to groceries and a good restaurant. We could cook and relax at the cabin and go to Denali during the day. The park in 10 minutes away. The owner is generous and gives you space.
