Oceanside RV Park is located in Haines, Alaska right on the shores of the Lynn Canal, North America’s longest fjord. Breathtaking ocean and mountain views surround the park, which is conveniently located adjacent to Main Street, the Haines Harbor, and the downtown business district. As a waterfront campground in Alaska, our guests are constantly spoiled with the incredible views of Alaska’s mountainous terrain and glacial waters. Haines, Alaska is widely known as the adventure capital of Alaska, and Oceanside RV Park provides the perfect location for taking advantage of all our region has to offer. Detailed Reviews
This RV park is basically a parking lot on the waterfront. A beautiful waterfront. New or remodeled, but not 100% complete when we stayed in Sept 2021. It's a 10 minute walk to everything that Haines has to offer, and about a 15 minute walk to the old army base. Spotless bathrooms and lounge area but no internet connectivity at the time. It was about 25% full and all of our neighbors left in the morning, maybe, like us, to take the ferry, which is just a few miles down the road. If an internet connection is important (it wasn't to us), check first. Otherwise, it's a great place for a few days in Haines.

This RV park is the best in Haines! It has amazing views, amenities and the hosts, Jim and Shelby, go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The club house, showers and laundry are recently updated and beautifully done. Free wifi is offered in the lounge area. The location is just minutes from town and the boat harbour. Couldn't ask for a better place right on the waterfront!

The recently remodeled facilities are clean, bright, and comfortable.
The view was picture perfect, as it looked directly out over the water.
The lot has been paved, and new landscaping was planted late in the summer.
The RV park is within easy walking distance of the downtown area, including restaurants, museums (don't miss the hammer museum), and grocery stores.

We were motorcycle camping and loved our night in Haines. Awesome seaside tenting spot and super clean facility. Top notch run operation. We had access to a very nice lounge area, very clean washroom facility with a small fee shower. Free WIFI as well. The on site manager is very friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful location and perfect view of the bay. Great access to downtown (really short walk), good spot for folks coming from the passenger ferry and beautiful clubhouse. Hosts, Jim and Shelby, are open and super accommodating. Have camped there a few times and will definitely be back.

Incredible hosts, clean amenities, and a fantastic place for families and dogs. We enjoyed our week vacation and the view and location couldn’t be better in close walking proximity to downtown haines and the docks.

The campground is right next to the ocean and the views are great. Everything has been recently modernised and is fairly clean. Showers are hot and 6 minutes is plenty of time.
The tent sites have been put at the point furthest from the toilets and showers, so those with no facilities have to walk the furthest. When we visited, no picnic tables were provided for sitting or cooking. The rules do not allow for cooking or dish washing in the clubhouse. All dishes must be washed under the cold spigot by the tent site, irrelevant of weather conditions. Same for cooking, no shelter provided but no cooking inside. It should be added that only hot water is available inside, including for brushing teeth. There is a cold tap on the club house, only hot water comes out.
We were reprimanded for preparing our food in the club house and for charging our devices in an area clearly designed for device charging. I would estimate upwards of 20 power points, some with USBs built in.
People in RVs might have a different experience but I would not recommend this place for tent campers.

This campground is relatively small and is located directly on the sea. The view is magnificent.
An attached clubhouse contains all facilities such as shower, laundry, lounge furniture if you want to surf the Internet or just want to chill.
Everything is very clean and comfortable and the prices are downright top!
