Great hotel/resort. Stayed there for one night only but it is a great facility. The rooms were very clean and nice. The tram is nice especially taking it up to restaurant. The views are beautiful. The hotel staff was very nice. You must go to the restaurant at the top of the tram. I would stay here again.

Room and amenities were great. Beautiful views, rest pool and beautiful trails! The only issue was check in. I was provided no map, no info on breakfast, or hotel amenities or anything. Literally handed the keys and told thanks. Stunned, I asked where the elevator was and the lady pointed to it as she turned to answer the phone. Don't... More

Everything about our stay was exceptional. All the beautiful gardens and flowers, rocking by the pond and using the pool and tram. The best stop on our Alaska tour and best. We arrived very early by train and a room was available immediately which is very special. We were able to start relaxing before Tram was open.

We had a junior suite on the 8th floor and were happy with the peace and quiet. We have always been happy with our stays at the Alyeska and this was no exception. This visit we skipped the Seven Glaciers Dining and ate at the Aurora on the third floor. We found the food to be delicious and a much... More

Now, I'm not saying there aren't other nice hotels in Alaska, but in our two week trip through Anchorage, Seward and Denali National Park, this was by far the most luxurious and high-end feeling. Which was just what we needed after several other stays in dumpy motels and rent-a-cabins. The overall grounds and hotel are very nice...my kids loved the... More

This is a lovely hotel with beautiful rustic decor. It's actually a ski resort. The restaurants serve very good food. The views are magnificent. There is an aerial tram that takes you up to the top of the mountain for lunch, hiking or just to see the scenery. The resort has wonderful hiking trails, bike and walking paths. We were... More

The resort is lavish, with great hikes in the neighborhood. The hotel grounds as well as the restaurants are nice. The hotel can get crowded with cruise passengers but only from the upscale cruises. I don't understand why some of the reviews are complaining about that, its like saying Ritz Carlton in SF or NYC is crowded during summer months!!... More

I stayed at this hotel for four days in early July 2016 (with my wife) and I cannot recommend it. On most of the days it was overrun with cruise ship passengers, 100s at a time. Three more buses were unloading when we checked out this morning. The cruise ship passengers crowd the public areas and restaurants and, since the... More

We stayed here as part of our Regent Post-Cruise trip. The hotel is gorgeous! As you approach it from the road, it is amazing to behold. The interior is beautiful; the guest rooms are wonderful - they even have bathrobes for the guest. The bed was so comfortable. There was a frig and coffeemaker in the room and a soaking... More

After extensive research and discussion with friends, I learned this hotel was the best and only real game in town for a short family vacation prior to boarding a cruise from Seward to Vancouver. The setting is stunning, and the property is pretty neat. The food was good, and the hiking and photography options were excellent, as was access to... More
