The rooms are superb ... separate sitting room with deck and woodstove. Vaulted ceilings. The small number of rooms, clustered in small groups, gave a sense of privacy. Some of the rooms were quite a walk from the main lodge and involved stairs or hills, so travelers with mobility issues should request a room closeby. The hot tub was in...

Over looking the beautiful Kenai River where you can sit on the open deck and watch the activity on the River while having a drink. Dining is in the main lodge which serve very good meals. The cabins are set over a large area but if you need tansport to the main lodge they will come and pick you up,...

Beautiful setting above the glacial fed Kenai River. Well appointed lodge with excellent restaurant and bar. A good stopping off point between cruising and world class fishing. Staff is friendly and helpful. Drift boats, fishing gear, and guides are available nearby.

The Princess Wilderness Lodge is located in the mountains overlooking the beautiful Kenai River. The rooms are large and have wood fireplaces. The views are amazing. The Kenai River is a world class salmon fishing destination and I would highly recommend this area for any visitor to Alaska. Staff is friendly and very helpful. A great place to stay!

Nice place, but has the potential to be much better. They seem to take their customers for granted. The front desk ladies in particular are nowhere near as friendly as one might expect from a lodge of this caliber. They carry a bit of an attitude, and could learn a thing or two from the much friendlier restaurant and bar...

This was one of the nicer lodges we stayed in in Alaska. Room was large, clean and best of all had a wood burning fireplace. There was cut wood already in the room and if more was needed, there was plenty already cut right outside the room. Food was little expensive but good.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms were enormous, every room had a huge high double bed, a living room with a real fireplace that you could light (our friends did every night) and a nice bathroom. It's right above the Kenai river which flows through the property. they had a nice trail from the lodge down to the...

Wonderful property located in the national park, only negative I could find was you had to be fit to walk to some of the more isolated rooms - then again, you could wait for the bus shuttle. Rooms were cute with their own fireplace in the lounge area, restaurant food was excellent and the staff polite and efficient.

We stayed here 2 nights and had a wonderful time. We were on a Princess land tour, arrived late afternoon, had a great time that night walking down to the river and eating in the bar that night. The next day we took a guided trip to walk on a glacier. Put it on your bucket list. The lodge was...

We stayed at the Kenai Princess twice, actually! Several years ago, we toured Alaska by motorhome and stayed at the KPWL RV park for several nights. The RV park wasn't fancy by any means but had everything we needed including laundry facilities and it was a short flight up the steps to have full access to the lodge, restaurant, gift...
