On my way from Anchorage to Soldotna, I stopped in Cooper Landing to stay the night. The Hutch B&B was conveniently right beside the main road, and the lodge was beautiful. My room was nice and cozy, and my bed and pillows were very comfortable. I don't know about the breakfast. I left before breakfast was served. I will mention,... More

I was traveling with my family and they happened to have a vacancy on our way through the area. We stayed on the ground floor since my grandparents have trouble with stairs. The owners were very friendly, the room was immaculate and the breakfast was divine! I love everything about this place and if I am every able to go... More

This places caters to a lot of fishermen but it's also in a great central location for touring the Kenai Peninsula area. Room was clean and well laid out. Owners are very nice people. The only thing I would add would maybe be a horseshoe area or cornhole game to give the younger travelers something to do in the evenings.

I am writing this overdue review finally...I thought the rooms / beds / were very clean and very comfortable. Continental breakfast was a OK. The grounds...beautiful..fire pit/ bbq outside too. Large grounds for soccer and the two hosts were amazing, kind, caring folks...good people. This was not a very fancy place but the basics were great for the value. I... More

I think most of the customers are repeats and it is easy to see why. The owners are friendly and they run a rustic but nice place. I would say whatever you do, don't complain. There are half a dozen signs around the front desk concerning where and how to file a complaint. Humor I'm sure but in not testing... More

I've made an annual trip to Alaska for a week every year for the past 10 years. I have been staying at the hutch now for 7 years in a row. George and Shirley are the owners and run a very family oriented business. The rooms and cabin are clean, staff is very friendly and knowledgable about the surrounding area... More

This was one of our best experiences during our 10 day trip to Alaska. We stayed 2 nights. Room was very nice and extremely clean. We had a small cooler and we appreciated the free ice. Lots of good choices for breakfast-many breads, not just 2 or 3. The evening camp fire was very enjoyable. We had a great time... More

My wife and I along with another couple stayed two nights at the Hutch B&B during our fishing trip at Cooper Landing. The rooms were rustic but comfortable and included a fan to help circulate the August air. We could see the Kenai river from our 3rd floor room. George and Shirley are great hosts and provided a list of... More
